  1. Hey, the strap is a Toscana, it was produced by TC Straps, it to my knowledge is no longer in production, this one that I am referring to is the tan colored one, it is camel.

Hi all, does anyone know what strap is on the 005 in the pictures below? Hopefully someone does and chimes in.

Oh ya, if you know it, please let me know who sells it and their website. Thank you. :)

  2. Do you mean temporarily, or has he closed down for good? I was planning to buy a 111h and brass arms from him. I got the impression his Pams were the best quality available if I am not concerned with some minor flaws regarding font size etc.

Guys, I don't think he is out of business, just yesterday I ordered one of his top of the line Titanium watches, I think that he is no longer dealing with PayPal, some problems or something, but I am sure that he is still in the biz, so without worry keep in tune to the sites and the whereabouts of the great Davidsen, for he shall not subside......... :sun: SHINE...

  3. First of all let me say that when you become partner you will become even more porrer, if I spelled that correct. I have a story to tell but not long, I am a top notch fan of the Fiddy's and also own a 111, when I wear my 111 for 2 or 3 days in a row and go to change over to my fiddy it is like night and day. If I have been wearing my Fiddy and do the switch over I look at the 111 and say to myself " wow this watch is so damm small", and likewise the other way around.... It's all about what "U" want and what makes "U" feel good with, personally if I see a watch that I like I make a habbit never to let the size decide. If I like it enough I will get it. Try not to limit your taste in watches and let your heart tell you what to do. P.S. no I am not a Lawyer, but my best friend just made partner after a long 8 years, and guess what?, he's more broke than before.... Just due to buying into the firm, you know his share as a partner...... may God look out for the two of you...... and good luck with your decision....... :)

  4. Yes, I am very happy for your fortune, but on the other hand the pics that you shared with us tells me that this watch should indeed not become a donor, it is in very immaculate condition and therefore should be held as the same as it always was. There are some watches which you may be able to tell the difference of donor or keepsake, in this instance I would, "myself", keep the watch as a keepsake, and either way, yes you do have a great find..... Cudos to you my friend..... :victory:

  5. I'd like to replace the bog standard strap that came with my fiddy. I'd appreciate it if other members could post photos of their fiddy-strap combinations, please also include details of where the straps were sourced from.

    Many thanks,

    JSW

Not on my Fiddy's at the moment but will be making another one for at least one of my Fids, just thought I would show off a bit.....

  7. To answer your thread title, I never worry. If it gets lost, most dealers will re-ship.

Most of the time, you'll see that it's in customs, then all of a sudden it shows up at your doorstep.

I've had em from 3 days to well over a month, and some that just disappeared. In the end, I've always got a watch.

Is that a pic of your girlfriend, if so. she is one hot MAMA, a little bloodshot in the eyes but fine, very fine.
