  1. Sorry if I will sound rude, but I need to vent for a quick second. I am the aforementioned seller. What the hell is this, do you think I have no life but sit on here and post all day? [censored]! I'm on vacation at the moment, and you must mind the time differences, there is a 6 hour difference between you and me and I just got your PM an hour ago and was ready to respond to it, then I find stuff about making a Paypal complaint! The site was down from this morning, when I went out for breakfast and went to visit my 94 year old grandmother at a long term care center on the other side of Hong Kong. Good grief, it's just 24 hours, I have waited 72 hours for serious problems in transactions with other members, and even then I didn't lose my cool yet, and even then I never threatened to make a paypal complaint. I come back home 30 minutes before the post you are reading now and I find this. I am understandably filled with rage, because if you file a Paypal complaint, it will do no good to either me or you. Remember we are dealing with illegal goods here, and I am no dealer. If I get into any [censored] with Paypal because of a complaint, I'm going to hold you 100% responsible for refusing mediation. I would have gladly offered you a refund of the watch value if you had asked nicely, and I still will do so, as I stand by whatever I sell, and I will try my best to keep communication up. This is in NO way making my life any better, having to deal with a lot of rubbish, including coping with the loss of my Breguet, filing complaints with the post office over a customs seizure, and a broken Daytona that was very expensive. This doesn't mean I won't solve your problem, but I have SO MUCH MORE things to take care of, including a problem within the family. This is going to be the second final nail in the coffin, I will quit RWG and replica watches forever after the next one. By the way, you've got a PM.
  2. http://www.replicacenter.com/comparison.php "This message board is a unique scam which operates by having a few scam artists pretend that it is a message board for replica watch enthusiasts. Instead, they set up fake 'sites' and pretend to be private dealers, scamming anyone who mails in a check or money order." Can't believe this place was a scam the whole time! I'm now going to go to Idealwatches and pay $1000 for a Grade AAAA Triple Wrapped Sub!
  3. Something different this time...... a Swatch Irony Body and Soul Skeleton on Bracelet.
  4. Was trying to access since last night at around 11pm HKT and couldn't do so until 1pm or so today (August 2nd). Thank goodness, as I have a lot of anxiety with outstanding trasnactions that need to be resolved.
  5. I think it is 150,000 euro or something, which is a steal if you compare to something similar from brands like AP who ask for $500,000+, and this also combines the technology of the sublime Spring Drive movement which is a plus.
  6. Subdial spacing stinks and they'll never get it right. White datewheel is also a problem.
  7. Okay then, PUT in the envelope. I'm so sorry if my choice of vocabulary made you think that. If you don't find a huge amount of bubble wrap around the watch acceptable then please tell me what your packaging procedures are. And by the way, I just discovered customs took it.
  8. My brother in law has a genuine Daytona and a fake Daytona, a really cheap one with day-date subdials. He saw the Swiss movement one I had, and he was amazed by it. He asked me how much, I told him the price for the Asian version, which was US$200 and he burst out saying "What the hell, I don't care if the chronograph works, for that kind of money I could have gotten a Seiko"
  9. Hong Kong post has indemnity up to HK$2500, which is just about the value of the 187. All I need to do now is to have the reciepts, etc. I just don't know how to prove I shoved a watch like that in the envelope, aside from the weight, and how to prove the value, but definitely the weight proves that I sent it.
  10. This watch has been out for a year or two already and is long sold out AFAIK.
  11. I think I'm having an incredibly poor run of luck, first I recieve a bad vintage Daytona, then I get robbed and now the 187 I sent to a member in trade has been stolen! Apparently, the package I sent to him arrived empty and was taped which was an obivous sign of tampering, as I didn't tape it but simply sealed it. I don't know what to [censored]ing do, getting robbed 2 days ago was bad enough, and now this. It was in a trade, I recieved what I was supposed to almost a week ago, while he gets an empty package. I feel really bad that this has happened. Again, any advice on what I should do? I'm going to file a complaint with the post office tomorrow morning, but I don't know how to tell them it was a fake watch, and I obivously made a false declaration on customs. I feel like digging a hole and lying in it, never to wake up again.
  12. Some new info, I reported my lost cards to the banks and HSBC Hong Kong gave me a call just about an hour ago that an attempt to use my ATM card to withdraw HK$20,000 from a Mong Kok ATM machine was rejected and the machine swallowed the card. This may be a significant breakthrough, the cameras could have caught something.
  13. AP Royal Oak 15300 today after my new Breguet was ripped off my wrist by 2 thugs.
  14. Unfortunately the movment in this watch is awful, the pic on joshua's site shows an older style Asia 7750 movement in the back, which is double the pain, the daytona movement is unreliable on the new Asia 7750 and even more unreliable on the older movement.
  15. Unfortunately the prices don't seem to be that much of a discount, and they can probably be obtained from ADs for around the same price or even less. You may be surprised what discounts ADs give.
  16. Yeah, 100 Pound notes exist in Scotland and Northern Ireland. It's because people in England are such cheapasses who can't afford to use 100 pound bills and have to use 50 Pound notes. (I'm kidding of course, as part of my family is from England too)
  17. (sigh) Too bad I paid for the watch with cash, so no protection unfortunately. I'm incredibly [censored] off, as I am staring at the beautiful empty Breguet box, with the papers and manuals completely intact, and even the wrappings from the watch are still here, but I am glad that the thieves will have a hard time to unload the watch (new watch without papers is very suspicious), and I hope that karma will catch up on them. Of course, material possessions are nothing, but the platinum ring cannot be replaced, as it's been in my family for something like 65 years, but at least replacing the Breguet is as easy as walking into an AD tomorrow, and the necklace also walking into the nearest goldsmith in Hong Kong which are a dime a dozen. But I don't think I'll be replacing the Breguet, this has taught me why I wear reps too, to prevent heartbreak in case something goes wrong.
  18. Earlier tonight, I was going shopping in Mong Kok again, when I entered a more deserted area to search for a computer parts store. Suddenly two huge men jump out of an alley and force me into the alley with a knife at my neck. In the alley, they removed my gold necklace, my platinum ring (which was a family heirloom), my wallet with HK$2,000 cash and also took my brand new Breguet Marine watch! Thank goodness after they took everything, they fled quickly and didn't hurt me. There was nothing you could do in that situation, two men holding knives going against you, and you quickly get scared. I made a report to police quickly after, and a search in the area by police officers in the area turned up nothing, and I also told them to alert pawn shops and secondhand watch stores for a Breguet Marine without papers. I am very upset that I was robbed, but am very thankful I wasn't hurt. Life goes on, and I hope I can forget this incident.
  19. Wow, in the time it took you to recieve your 187, I beat mine up and traded it off a week ago already!
  20. Damn it, the offer comes when I'm in Hong Kong, and I can't use my Paypal account because the last time I used it, it really [censored]ed my credit card up. Any way to pay by wire, etc.? Also, are customs issues for Canada covered?
  21. The silica gel did the trick Problem is to find a watchmaker here in Hong Kong who will work on reps.
  22. Just to note, this is from the Panerai boutique, therefore the discount offered is a generous 0%.
  23. I need some advice on a recent transaction I had with a member on here. I bought a DW Vintage Daytona with a 7760 movement from a well-known member here, I paid and the item was shipped. However, on arrival I found that the packaging wasn't very good, it didn't amount to anything more than toilet paper with the watch taken apart and stuffed into a simple paper envelope. Then the problems begin, first the crystal has 2 cracks, not scratches, but cracks that go right through the crystal. I was absolutely stunned by this. But this was the least of my worries. The watch would not move after a lot of winding (almost 100 times), and finally did when I shook it a little. Then when I started the chronograph to test it out, I was absolutely stunned. The watch just stopped. Not the chronograph, but the whole watch. I gave it a little shake and it began moving again, but then the watch stopped again after 5 seconds. I contacted the member, and kept the watch under observation. I wound the watch again, and placed it on my desk without chronograph running. I found that it was running well after 15 hours or so, then I tried the chornograph again. The watch froze again after 2 seconds. So what should I do in this scenario?
  24. Guess I've learned my lesson. I used to swim, shower with my reps, many Panerai especially and didn't have a problem with them at any time and I guess I took that for granted...... Thanks for reminding me why I buy genuines too. I found a few silica packs from Korean seaweed I had lying around the apartment, threw 2 of the packs in a ziploc bag with the watch and I'm praying that it won't happen again, and that in the morning everything will be fine. Another question, why did the moisture keep appearing on and off? I would go inside, the moisture would disappear, then reappear, then disappear again, and when I went outside reappear again, and disappear and reappear again. Sometimes the moisture was so bad that I couldn't even read the bloody time!
  25. Are these majorly unpopular or what? I went to the Panerai boutique in Hong Kong today and they had 5 Zenith EP Panerais in stock, while the other chronographs all have 6 to 12 month waiting lists for them. Anyone know why? The Zenith movement is obivously the superior movement to the currents 7753 used by Panerai.
