Tech was good enough to sell his super rep 27a to me as a newbie. I've worn it nearly every day for a few years now, and it's put my 2 gen Rolexes out to pasture... LOVE this watch:

THIS is how an addiction starts....gorgeous watch and just the journey i'd like to begin. I know the first answer to all my questions is "read the boards for a couple of weeks", but where would I start (reading or contacting) to start sourcing some key ingredients (quality dial, eta movement, etc)? Thanks in advance for any education here.

Thanks for the help! Off to secure a 351....

Thanks for the info--any preferences on 351 suppliers? Henry Lee at Tswiss Henry claims he carries the 118, but it looked like it was not a tobacco dial on the website? Any knowledge here?

All, first post, so please be kind....
I bought a very cheap PAM 36 a few years ago and love the watch, which began my Panerai obsession. I've since bought a superfranken 27A from Tech on this very site and LOVE it, and now want to upgrade my 36 into something more believable so I can wear it more often. I live in Switzerland, so am around people who know their watches, and am concerned about even a high-quality 36 as the gen is so expensive. Enough babbling: do any of you know how to obtain even a cheap PAM 118 or 61 so I can still have the tobacco dial? I prefer a high-quality one, but if needed will buy a cheap one for the face and build my own franken over time. Any help or advice MUCH appreciated. Unfortunately, the addiction is growing stronger.....

This is my BK modified Noob. He replaced both hands and dial with WM9's I also had the original movt replaced with a gen Rado 2836 movt. I know there are quite few things wrong, but it's certainly a good looking watch!
I'm new to the forum--How do I contact BK? And does he have anything from Panerai that's as good quality as the Yachtmaster?
