Hey Guys
I'm holding off buying a bunch of APs (Lebron James, MS and 2014 exhibition cases) in the hope they improve movement so it looks like the real thing (especially on the 2014 models).
Am I hoping for too much? Is it possible?
Organe is easy to pull off;
Very dark jeans, straight cut (I have pair by Dunhill), dark blue top (something from John Smedley), and some brown loafers (tods) and the belt will offset it all. Will look great - I have the same outfit but with a red belt - gets compliments all the time!
Guys
What is the deal with the movement in APs? I am reading conflicting threads and thought everyone would like some clarification.
I just got my first AP Chronopassion and the chorno function didn't work on arrive. The TD has been amazing and is sorting it all out for me, but I want to know if I can expect problems with this movement going forward?
Would be rather sad to be wearing an AP and see it stop/break when dishing out over $500 for one!
Okay, bit of research - looks as though this is a common problem with a CP with the Chorno function not working. May need a service sooner rather than later!
When testing my Chronopassion, I noticed that when it gets to about 57/58 seconds it has a little jump to '60/0' whilst the dial at 9 changes by 1 min.
Is this normal on the AP reps? Is it a sign of movement problems to come?
Just got my AP Chronopassion - not a huge fan of the strap and buckle - seems cheap in comparison to the rest of the watch - just wondering whether other APs have better quality straps and buckles. Or where I can buy them (I only know of APbands and they don't sell the buckle).
Also, my wrist is fairly small - can I buy shorter strap - watch sits fine on the wrist, just the plastics strap doesn't!
I am with Ken on this. You can't knock him for bring too expensive and then complain about quality. Ken is a pleasure to deal with and very polite. I'd pay the extra just to use someone who provide that secuirty.
No, V6 is one factory and H-Factory is one factory. There is a version by both, but V6 is generally better (only down side is dial and AR, but really not that noticeable).
