This is awesome info, thank you!
Been lusting after a PAM386 from puretime, but having reservations about the Asian 7750. Especially since it's a decorated movement in a see through back. Seems a little sad to think of swapping it for a stock ETA.

Got my new seamaster from Trusty. Absolutely love it!!!!
Forum doesn't let me post pics yet...
it's still awesome tho! Bracelet is a bit stiff, had read a few posts about bicycle chain cleaner wax to give a try.

Hi! Thought it was time to introduce myself.
I joined the site several years ago, did a crazy amount of obsessive research before buying a Seamaster from... oh goodness, I don't remember now. Oh well.
Anyways, I love machines. Especially ones so incredibly tiny and precise as those in mechanical watches. I really feel that they are kind of the pinnacle of little perfection. This is a way for me to enjoy and celebrate these small marvels in a way that doesn't make my wallet weep.I'm back again! hopefully will learn enough that when folks ask questions I can be like "hey! I know that one!" and actually start contributing a little. Thanks for all of you who take the time to share what you've learned. Its very appriciated.

What's the DEAL on Reporting Reps on eBay?
in General Discussion

I agree. Buyin/selling a rep as a rep... Not a big deal. It's a really awesome thing that one might not otherwise ever afford.
Intentionally selling a rep as a gen, with the intent to profit... That's flat out lying and stealing. No good.
The folks who go on eBay looking to out people posing reps as a gen, are using their knowledge and experience to help people who would otherwise be scammed.
