I wore my GPO (green PO heheh) on wednesday.
It's surprisingly good quality for a silix bargain bin 30 buck-er. Quality bracelet. SEL's, about 24hr power reserve, appears to be sapphire crystal, and the green (while obviously far from accurate) actually looks really cool.
I was expecting "street fake quality" but its much better than that
I REALLY like that green insert - do you know if one for a 45mm PO is available anywhere?

Just recieved this and I am blown away by how it looks and feels.

Hi Guys,
I have a link Chrono, and one of the screws on the clasp has come off. This is on the actual overhead locking piece of metal. Before it fell off, it would not screw in properly, just seemed to spin in the hole, so i assume I will need an end link too? Where can I get these from? This watch is only around 2 months old
Hi Oztag
This seems to be a common weakness. I had exactly the same happen to me and I know others have to.
In the end I gave up and bought a box of mixed watch screws from Ebay, it will only cost you a few $'s and more than likely your going to find another falls of another rep in the future. Whilst your on the bay, I also suggest a box of mixed bracelet pins could be useful.
It goes without saying, check the other screws and check any new reps the moment you get them...quality control is mostly 2 letters used in adverts rather than anything meaningful, so don't count on it.

I agree with By-Tor...insane price!
I purchased an Aquaracer just a few weeks ago from Precious Time who is UK based http://www.ptswiss88.com/ I was very happy with the service and price.

I would say 6.5 or 6.75, I haven't measured and I in the bathroom right now so no measuring tape. . I am looking at either the white or graphite BCE from Eurotimez or PT.
You post from the bathroom?

Have never seen a PO with a green insert (sheltered life or ignorant Noob?) but I like it very much.
This must be Dantes Watch Forum
Which watch?
Then which watch on which strap/bracelet?
Then which watch on which strap/bracelet with which insert?
Then which watch on which strap/bracelet with which insert on which day?
Then which watch on which strap/bracelet with which insert on which day with which shirt?

Ditto to everything said above...I have a Tag Link waiting if your experience is good...

Now 'enjoying' the British weather - Bike Mikes re-homed Ti Avenger. Great trade from a stand up guy

Nice shots - well done!
I cringe every time I post a pic here, especially if it is near a masterclass offering! BUT
It is encouraging to see that by following some of the great advice available here and plenty of perserverance, photos that do our watches justice can be had.
I agree, the clouds are a nice touch and the tree refelected in the bezel.

Arrived today, one of Reg's well known 'value' 45mm PO's
My first purchase from Narikka was easy and quick with very good communications.
So it doesn't stand scrutiny of course but at

Damn...ANOTHER I HAVE to add to my want list...will this torment never end?
I wanted to like the Mille Miglia but it never clicked with me, but this one does...
Thanks Silverspeed....wear it well

I have a Panda on order from PT but it's this one I REALLY wish they would rep! What are the chances of being able to get a gen dial..anyone?
If I get on with the rep then I think I'll HAVE to buy this as a Gen

Nice article interesting to read..thanks
I never saw the appeal of these watches but I'm becoming 'Pam curious'.
"[Panerai], it's perfect for people who are over 45 years old" adding a reference to the ease of reading large-format watches."
Maybe we need a prescription crystal service! Any optometrist on the board

Looking at mine I can see what you mean, but if you refer to HackR's photo's, you can see the difference in surface finish - more polished on the ring, more matt on the dial. I think it's just the differnce between reflected and scattered light.

Are you married? Been married a while? .......... Maybe you're having an affair with your rep
-
You've had all the good advice, so how about grinding down the screwdriver and punch and having another go at re-sizing the other end of the bracelet? this time try cutlery....and keep your camera handy
The pins are a bugger to shift...I watched a jeweller get red faced with mine. I recommend buying a box of mixed pins from Ebay for a few £'s for future operations and a box of mixed screws whilst your at it.
Thanks for sharing your intimate moment with your watch..it was a laugh

I think most people want to believe in conspiracy theories, as it at least proves there are intelligent people in control even if they are not being very nice about it!
The alternative is even more terrifying....sh*t just happens and when it does, we'll turn to our leaders for salvation but they will be sh*tting themselves too

I have bought before via credit card so I logged in and.....Your are quite right..no CC option!
But like the man says...trusted dealer

Almost...

I've taken you out of context, but I couldn't have said it better myself.
Love your watch, the gen caseback is a great touch.
I've said it everywhere here lately and I'm going to say it until someone takes notice; there is a modified 7750 tri-compax movement secs @ 9 and tighter subdial spacing past the 'proto-type' phase that these Speedy's could use.
For heaven's sake screw all the various Rolex vintages that are so rare only the Sultan of Brunie and JoJo35 will ever own and get going on a correct MOON WATCH! 1665? Get real.
I have to agree... The watch, even accidentally, defined a momentous achievement in human history. It is visible in so many photos. It does deserve spcial attention.

That was an awesome show last night - how bonkers is that Peoples' Palace?!
He really was a nutjob...
They didn't mention that it is the 2nd bigest inhabited building in the world after the Pentagon. There is as much below ground as there is above. But you're bang on with your analysis...he was a nut job

As winter draws on in middle England (...the rain gets a bit colder!)
Nothing nicer than a log fire, a soothing malt...
and a cigar...

This coating + a gen movement looks to actually better the TAG offering and save $1000...
"is it genuine?" "Nah..it's better than that!"
How to tighten a loose rotating bezel?
in The Rolex Area

Try tying a loop of dental floss under the bezel. It cured the loose bezel on my Chrono Avenger. I expected it to look like a birds nest after a week but it is still working well sevral months later.
