  1. Try this... http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/web_video_capture.html or this: http://krut.sourceforge.net/
  2. Nice stuff, congratulations. Any other favorites aside from AP?
  3. I bought mine from PT (Precious Time). @Theo.. (and others with a striped tube CC) look in my sig. I had the same problem with mine last year and found a solution which I posted.
  4. Congratulations and all the best...
  5. Nice pictures. Just don't forget your watches in the cab.....
  6. It's a great watch. I have one myself. Here is the best review on it (by Seadweller4000)
  7. Great watch Theo. But say, don't you ever get tired of AP's?
  8. Very nice combo. May I ask where you bought the Rolex buckle?
  9. That is hard to say. It depends on where in the world you are (add that to CN <-> UK), what type of watch you order (because PT also gets his watches from the same factories as all other dealers), if the watch has to be ordered first from CN or if he has the watch in stock in the UK. My orders from PT are usually delivered within one to three weeks.
  10. Wearing gen today.... (sorry for iPhone pic but my PAS is kaputt)
  11. This is what I found on a German forum discussing the same thread.... Weight comparison - engine only s50 R6 (cast iron) 154 kg s65 v8 (aluminum) e39 202 kg s85 v10 e60 m5 240 kg here's some more about it... http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2929437
  12. 10 cylinder M5 engine: 305.11 cubic inches / 5 liters displacement 500HP / 507PS torque: 383.48 ft-lb /520 Newtonmeter 8.250 rpm/max
  13. Sweeeet! ...and... if stuff like that would bore me, why would I be here?
  14. that's a looooooooot of engine for a small car. Performance must be awesome.
  15. Thanks so much guys..... here's to you
  16. That might be difficult. As far as I know, the date window on the dial needs to be in a slightly different position for a 7753. That means, in addition to a 187 with 7750 and a 7753, you would need a new dial. Back in the old days, there were 187 with 7753's for sale. They were very expensive and they are pretty rare. Chances to find a single dial from one of these are slim to none.
  17. Yes, things have changed quite a bit.... I remember my gen 1680 redletter Sub which I bought used in New York in 1984. I paid a whopping 400$ back then. As this is a rep forum, I might add that over the years, that watch went to Rolex twice for service and yes, it was really gen. About ten years ago, I (the idiot) unfortunately traded that watch for another piece, so I'm in line for the time machine...
  18. we are talking about a minimum volume of roughly 1% of the membership of this forum alone... that does not sound too difficult. I bet a true 1:1 1665 or 1680 on a reasonable price would sell like hotcake. In a sense it's a business model already, just on a different price scale.
  19. I'm not using Ghost but Acronis True Image however I have cloned EIDE disks to SATA disks via an external USB to SATA connector. True Image was running from a bootable CD, the EIDE was inside the PC the new SATA connected via USB. I later added a PCI SATA controller card to the PC and switched the disks.
  20. Very nice piece... welcome back to the lefty club...
