  1. Very nice pictures of a truly beautiful watch. I share your opinion about the superb GMT function. Thanks for posting this....
  2. Taste can't be bought.... ranks right up there - next to the Gaytona and the Clownmaster...
  3. Hi and welcome to the forum. All the information you are looking for (and much, much more) is available - if you are willing to look for it. Try the search function (upper right corner of the forum window)... People here usually like to help... just the infamous "who has the best sub?" first post will most likely get you nowhere...
  4. I did a little work on my 202a and finally switched it to a DSN case I had bought several months ago. Also did a CG lever fix and installed a T48 and so here it is, back on my wrist....
  5. Hi there. Welcome to the addiction. You can find links to most dealer websites under "LINKS" in the forum menue. If you are concerned about customs issues, you can try PT (Precious Time) or Eurotimez or buy an EU members watch from the trade section. CU
  6. I have that same feeling everytime I switch back to a Rollie from one of my biggies (PAM, AP, Oris...)
  7. Very nice.... I look forward to seeing your pictures when you have time to set up....
  8. Same original source for mine - Angus. Seems I have to get in touch with him...
  9. I bought mine from a member about two weeks ago. He claimed to have barely worn the watch. I have worn the watch 24/7 since I received it. When it came, the bezel was ok. Now (and I don't do stuntwork with my watches), the rubber wears off. Underneath, the bezel is black PVD, so it is not extremely obvious unless you look for it. The watch is sec@12 with the updated - black - date window. The problem is the permanent friction of the rubber bezel against cuffs, sweaters, jackets and the likes. For other uses, thin rubber might be a good idea... , but not for a bezel.
  10. Thanks for adding these pictures, Lani. I kinda like that watch because of it's rugged look and the very good readability of the dial/hand combo. However, the "deep-sea" datewheel bothers me a lot....
  11. This is not a Tudor as they have a 6/9/12 layout.
  12. Having just bought a ROO sec@12, I must thank you very much for this very informative and knowledgeable post. Francisco, have you ever thought about offering the graphite treatment as a service?
  13. I've been wearing my latest acquisition for the passed few days. An amazing watch with a (so far) very accurate running movement and surprisingly good factory lume.
  14. A lazy Sunday afternoon.... took the camera, my favorite PAM and went to play. The wallpaper is sized 1680x1050. Enjoy...
  15. Especially the black Flieger is awesome....
  16. @Francisco... I somehow overlooked this thread for a while and only now finished reading. Thank you very much for making the effort and investing your time. Truly a very revealing thread.
  17. That is not a big problem - there is special clear glue for this (glas) purpose which hardens under UV light. You can get it from the ususal (Ofrei / Cousins) or at your local Home Depot. If you don't have a UV lamp, direkt sunlight and patience will do...
  18. Angus = Puretime .... check the links section
  19. I still think overall it's one of the better reps. The bracelet issue is true for basically ALL Rlx reps (including MBW etc.) and without some work (including overall cleaning, oiling of the links and careful sanding of the sides) they feel fake. The CG on this one are much better out of the box than most of the RReps and I've also yet to see a RRep with perfect insert out of the box. All in all, I guess what you are experiencing is a reality check - even if we want it badly, a 300$ item will not look and feel exactly like a 6.000$ item.
