  1. Hi to all, it is not my use to speak not good about commercials, but i need to do a very negative feedback to Getat Watch.

I have some parts buy from him (around 650$) from 15 of june, and i don't know when and if its will be delivery.

Normally the communication with Tat it is not so good, but i don't receive one response from 15 of june.

    This is very unpleasant

  2. Just a couple of quick and dirty shots of a Mappin & Webb quartz, I picked up over the weekend.

It was in shabby condition, has had a dial clean, a new crystal, battery and strap...(I'm thinking of a nicer strap than this now, as it has cleaned up so well.)

T'was a beautiful piece to work on, everything just 'fitted'.

Unknown quartz movement, never seen one like it before... I don't know whether M & W have "redialled" another brand as their own, or if this was something they built themselves.

Obviously dates to 1983, is solid gold, ( even the movement retainer is a solid gold piece )... I am thinking this ones on the way to the 'vault", as in "Not for sale". I just love its classic simplicity.

There are some truly nice gens around, at "budget" prices , if you look hard enough, and are prepared to do a bit of work on them.

    Offshore

It's nice even if it's not exactly my kind :D

  3. Although the Radiomir inspired look does not appeal to me, I agree with all the other members that have commented before me. The quality and attention to detail in these pieces are second to none!

Do you have any plans for any other designs?

Thanks vlydog, yes I m lready working on another project, with other this, but i need time it's hard and long, but there will be something in next future

  4. Hi T, and hi everybody this is what's happened (Place below some parts of e-mail me and T exchanged so to let you know what really happened)

T:The watches are beautiful and the price you have quoted to me is reasonable.Unfortunately I think I will have to pass on the watch this time. It is a piece of art and I would have loved to own one of the pieces, but unfortunately I don’t have any spare cash these days. I am getting married in 2 months, so all my funds goes towards the wedding preparations these days.

Me:T, you have been honest with me (about the fact that u want to open an area for me on your forum and you have never asked me nothing for this) and for me this the most important thing, namely that's the trust and respect between people, and u have been shown me all of these things. Thank you. That's why Federico and I, have decided to give u a wedding gift... You'll recive our watch... because is right that a beatiful watch is worn by a beatiful person... so when we'll get the first ready we'll send it to you like a present.

It'll be Brown dial, brushed case and rose gold hands... caliber may be hamilton 917 ( but i'm not sure)

T:I really do not know what to say.....Thank you doesn’t seem enough, but thank you VERY much! It is highly appreciated and I cannot describe how happy this makes me, as I have been looking at the pictures of the watch almost daily.

Me: We don't want anything from you, just We're glad to give our watch to a good person that enjoy it as much as you enjoy it. That's it. The only thing i could ask u, if u'll think it's right, it's to say what you think and feel about our watch so as to let us know a bit, obviously after you recived it

    This is what's happened about.

And nothing more can better explain how much happy i am to read T feelings about watch. It's wonderful. A great watch for a great person nothing else.

Thanks T, Thanks RWG, we are a great comunity. Thanks again.

Fiorillo is more than a watch!
