  1. I simply cannot get my Droid to capture decent pictures of this watch, but it's stunning in person I assure you. Ziggified parts: 1. Lume on dial, hands and pearl; and 2. Refinished crown guard and pin. Other parts Two geeks datewheel; Better AR on crystal, though it's impossible to tell from these pics; Swiss 7750, which makes it run like a top, and eliminates the sunken datewheel; Polished bezel markers (I had a gen bezel lined up and ready to buy, then found out that they have to be glued on -- I'd rather have a functional bezel on this watch, as I actually use it for timing); and Sealed and pressure tested to 200m. I will try to get some better pics of this beauty. In the meantime, here she is!
  2. I can't believe that's a DSN. Looks great.
  3. It's a great piece, but a niche piece, I believe. The size alone makes it appropriate for only a few. Still, it looks as though the makers have done at least an admirable job trying.
  4. So forgive the question, but is that actually a rolex movement, or a great replication of one?
  5. Why, oh why, can't you be 45mm? It looks outstanding, but I'd never be able to wear it, and my wrists are more than 7 inches. It's such a nice piece.
  6. Totally bad ass. What a rare beast. And I must say, your date font and cyclops are outstanding. What a great piece, as usual!!
  7. This is a nice rep. No chance of really ever seeing another one in the wild.
  8. The GMT is absolutely stunning. I'd buy that in a heartbeat.
  9. All the reps are spotty. You may get one good up to 100m, or you may get one that get one that won't work with splashes. In my experience, most of them can be made to be pretty water resistance, whether it be a good gasket and grease on the caseback, or a few extra gaskets on the crown. Keep in mind that generally it isn't the tightness of the lever that's the problem, but the gap between the crown/tube and the case. Good luck!
  10. I used to have a beauty like that with a 2893-2. I still miss the watch sometimes. As to the hand length, it's not actually the hands that are too long. In fact, mine had gen hands and it had the same effect. It's that the numbers are placed incorrectly on the dial, too close in toward the center. I guess the fix is DSN hands which I think are a bit shorter, or a gen dial. And good luck. I know they're out there, but I could never locate one which ultimately led me to sell mine. But seriously, yours looks great as is. Enjoy!
  11. Very close! Looks like it's getting there. Thanks so much for your hard work on this.
  12. It was gone from the options list. Oh, well. Mobile version is nice.
  13. I don't have the words. What an amazing collection. The crownguards look amazing on the 29 and the 01. Are those gen?
  14. I know you've probably got a bit more to go, but it looks fantastic. Really, really nice piece.
  15. Great pics. I'm having the Taka DW installed on a Swiss 7750 right now, so I'm excited to see how well yours turned out. Very nice watches.
  16. Imperfections aside, this is a really compelling offering....
  17. There are a lot of good parts about this watch. The dial looks good, DW font looks good. Hands look good. The crown and crown guard is a hot mess, but most people mod that anyway.
  18. I will commit on a preliminary basis. If they wind up being $800 a dial..... but let's at least get 'er going
  19. If this dial is produced, I would buy it. Unbelievable.
