I'm glad to hear he's ok, and that he hasn't deserted. If you don't mind sharing.. where are you getting your DSSD from? It's a shame trevor wasn't able to be on top of it. This DSSD is the best out there for the money.. as the cartels are charging nearly double for a similar product... Don't even mention ETZ

Ended up holding off on the DSSD for now, might revist that one in a few months

Yep, I had heard only good things, and yes the web order would make sense if he followed it up (or at least put a page saying 'you will be contacted for purchase details' instead of getting a page saying 'transaction complete'

Hope it works out for anyone buying from him, personally, I'm goign to look to other avenues as his lack of communication makes me very reluctant to purchase from him.

I wouldn't buy through his website.. the watch is cheaper if you mention you're an RWG member I ordered mine directly through email contact. 10 euros less than his website

I know (and its only cheaper if you pay certain ways), but he doesnt email anyone back anymore apparently, thats the problem.

I was just pointing out that even should you want to purchase from his website..you cant, it goes through and tells you the orders completed...but never asks for payment info. Free watch? Sure!

Kinda want to take this back..he did respond. Now hes gone away again with no response. Makes me think maybe not the best person to deal with (good thing he stopped communicating before payment I guess), could be other circumstances I guess...but with the web site ordering really not working at all, makes me rethink this option.

I am no expert on the version of the DSSD but stay away from the 3135 clone, it is just a dressed up clone of a 2836 and the dressings fall off and stop the movement, on top of that you pay more for what you cant see any way

anyone has ordered from trevor these few days?

I've had a look through the reviews and the ultimate looks like the one I want to go with (though any advice would be great)

So onto my questions which I hope don't show off just how much of a noob I am

2) Which movement would you all recommend...the Asia 3135 or the Swiss ETA 2836-2

3) The shipping..maybe I'm doing something wrong, but when i click shipping...one is listed as 'free shipping'...but it costs 30$?

Also, I read in one of the review threads (don't believe it was for this specific model but it may have been)that for the watches you have to seal up the He valve so that it doesn't leak (obviously not goign diving with it..but splashes or so on), am I right in assuming that this has been done with this watch as its rated to go to 50m or 5atm? or would I still need to do something

Any other mods to do to this (I've heard about the bezel and the incorrect 10..but Im all thumbs...we'll see)
