  1. I don´t know if prohunter have AR in all crystal (crystal and cyclop) as they described in the web.

Not that I can remember from when I tried it. My gen breitling have a "no glass" effect and I'm sure I'd rect if the Prohunter had the same!

  2. The reason for this is because it's more common and reliable to use the incorrect hand stack on the 2836-2. The correct handstack movement has proven not to be as reliable.

I read that too. However not ver long ago I read a thread on rg.com on the correct hand stack version of the SS GMT IIc.

    http://www.repgeek.com/showthread.php?t=183272&highlight=correct+hand+stack

That version of the GMT is the correct hand stack version? But is it reliable?

I do remember now reading a thread(s) here about the hand stack issue a few years back. Thanks for the reminder.

    Mike

Yeah, I read "incorrect hand stack" lots of times but never cared about what it means. Is it a big flaw you think?

And next question, is the Prohunter SUB closer to the gen judging from pictures you'd say? :)

  3. There Is no mention of AR In the Pro Hunters discription.

    QC pic from Josh

    Ehm?

Diamond like carbon coating on a 40mm case with a rotatable ceramic bezel. The black dial is signed with PROHUNTER in white. Finished with an anti reflective coating and individually engraved case backs (900-1000)

I was just wondering if the AR was referring to the DW.

Is the green ceramic GMT IIc the most acdcurate Prohunter?

  4. Sorry mate, you are wrong...

The price depends on what you are willing to pay for it and how long you want to look for parts.

I have built a black themes which came with a brand new hornback, deployment and conversion links. All bought at an AD

    Price for this strap set allone was € 1500,- ( $ 2100,)

With gen hands, gen dial, gen tachyring, gen crown, gen crown tube, gen pushers and a completely serviced LWO movement, the price was between 5 and 6K.

Yep, serious money but my customer wanted it fast and paid the full price.

Although it cost a lot, it's still 1/2 the price of a used gen one and about 1/3 of the price of a new gen one.

It looks, feels and functions like the gen and also the durabillity is the same as the gen.

A friend of mine went into the AD's this weekend and spontaniously bought a AP roo blue leather.

The asking price was 19 k € , he payed 13.5k € inc. SS bracelet.

Hís watch is can be sold on the 2nd hand market for 10k in 5 yrs.

I'm having a hard time to believe that will happen to a franken.

Never the less the watches are great, I've said before. But I can get a gen ROO on the black market for 6k€ for sure (maybe 7k€ if there a particular color combination I want et.c).

Anyone in Stockholm with a little bit of watch contacts can do the same..

    My 5 cents.

  5. Is that the Ultimate Survivor or the cheaper Asian version? I am debating on them and trying to convince myself the Ultimate is worth $500+. They both look great man..

The non-ultimate one is not worth it's money. Wrong case diameter and worng case material amongst other flaws.

Go with the ultime, have it myself:

  6. Where's the yanks when you need 'em? Americans are allways more positive than us Europeans.

If you ask an American if something can be done, the reply 9 times out of ten will be: "hell yah, as long as you believe in it!"

If you ask Europeans, the answer will be "don't bother".

    Guys, if you would've said:

It will be hard to perform this beacause of X and Y and Z, I'd respect it. But to just throw the entire idea in the sink with no motivation what so ever is just plain rude.

    Come on, positive thinking!!

  7. The pic shows the ROO rosegold rubberclad.

It is available with all our dealers here....opt for the updated version (dial color).

    Theo

BTW: the Don Ramon .... has a new and updated caseback now, so this would be nice to have as well.

Weren't there more flaws to this model?

I've seen it live and it's god damn stunning in person. If there was a descent rep of this I'm sure as h*ll getting it :)

  8. Well, I own the ss version of the T3....very nice watch but I cannot tell about the Titanium version....Ti version has got new screws for the pusher protectors (now cross-head screw).

Anyway, the crystal of the T3 is all wrong, the gen is domed and has a loop/lense effect witch makes it look fake, wheras the rep T3 has a flat crystal witcvh looks way better (design-wise) but is far away from gen!

The Las Vegas is very nicely done, the black coating is wonderful and the red accents are stunning and make the watch look mean/eval! I sold it around a year ago.

Only real flaw with the LV is the deployant, outer part should be black and the folding part should be ss as the rep is all black.

    My Las Vegas

The MASATO....never owned it, never saw a gen.....but I´d love to buy it as it looks cool with that new-design dial.

    Theo

    Thanx for the input theo!

I've spoken to a fellow member and he said the same.

The mainissue for me with the masato is the quality of the strap (which I can buy from HKtan if I want to up the quality) and the "crystals" on the 3.

(Do they scream fake or not?).

The LV Strip looks mad evil, I really like it! :)

    kind reg

  9. Hey guys,

I need to order the AP SEC 12 SURVIVOR, & SEC 12 TITANIUM T3 (NOT STAINLESS). Puretime has both, but does not offer any discount for a higher value order...I just wanted to know if there is another trusted dealer that may offer both at a better price?!

    Thanks in advance.

I got my Survivor from Tony @ Asian 7750. Great communication, great shipping. (Got the watch in just 4 days to EU). The Crown broke in 2 days though and have been lying there since.

Shame on such a gorgeous watch!

  10. I know there's quite a few owners of the T3 out there.

I asked a trusted dealer about this rep and he said (and I quote) "This is not a superrep".

That was too bad since I really like the Ltd Ed Ap's and more specific the T3.

But maybe you guys can fill me in on this.

What are the flaws on this rep? (t3)

And I've never seen a review of the Masato. I've asked around before, primarily on RG.com but no one seems to own this one.

If anyone has any knowledge about this help is much appreciated.

And last but not least, the Las Vegas strip AP.

Does anyone know of a review?

    Is this a accurate rep?

All info would be of much help for me to decide of what next AP to get!

    thanx!

    Tomas
