  1. Hello,

I weared my noobmariner for less than a week and the pearl have disapeared.

I did not put the watch in any stress, but it fall off the bezel.

I search it around my desk, but i did not find it.

Which one is the best option to replace it?

Where you buy it? How much?

Can i just epoxy it to the place of should i do a more elaborate fixing?

That replicas have some problems sometimes ..........

  2. I can see that this is not the exact corret angle to see thr crystal by side.

I understand you want to know source, as i was in the same position last 4 months.

I was scammed by WM9 and lost one in the second hand forum later. I wanted that model. I am a very-few-watches-guy (1).

Watch comes from one authorized dealer.

I did ask all dealers about this one -it took a thousand emails- and one get one example left somewhere after a long wait.

Once shipped, i will tell you everything.

  3. Hello,

I have received this photographs of one example of what it is supposed to be a Super SD which is waiting to be shipped to me.

I would like to ask to the Rolex experts its opinion about this example. It seems to be correct, but i have little knowledge. I learn from SSD photographs in the dealers sites and i have no one in my hand ever.

What do you think about this one? Right or wrong?

  4. Thank you for the help.

I am sourcing a Super SD with mods and perhaps it could be a good starting point to cover my particular needs of water resistance, personality, prestige, style, intented use, etc. The SD is the watch i think will fit my personal niche better. Price is not very high and dealer is trusted very high.

It is difficult these days to obtain a good one.

If WM9 ever honour its preorder clients i will recover faith in commercial people. I am not biased, i just apply common sense.

  5. I swore you i have read 2000 posts on that watches, but i did not find some bits of information i need to buy something without mistake.

I like the SD. I have some "demanding" underwater experiences and i like that kind of tool watches. As more people know, the problem is the price.

I was waiting for the WM9 SD, as it promised to be good, but we can not count on it after some recent data, in my opinion.

I investigate the DSSD, but while there is very good rep and ready avalaible, it is too big for me. I prefer a lot the 40mm size over the 43mm. I discard it after some days reading.

Found the super SD. But they discontinued it lately. :thumbdown:GRRRRRR !!

I found some "newbie" SD or things like that (i suposse not very good reps) and i do not ask for stock.

So i start to see vintage. If the watch is 40mm, has good water resistance and has the SD "pedigree" vintaged but new can be a plus. Problem : i am not sure i like plexy glass. I much prefer the look of saphire and the concenience too.

I search dealers and the mess get bigger. A lot of watches with no real stock. Difficult.

So, here i am on knees asking for some expert help:

There is any "good" 40-41mm Sea Dweller avalaible now, best with shapire crystal, vintage or not vintage. Somewhere ?

You know the searching could be nice if you like it, but i have no watch here and i would like to start knowing what time is it without looking at the mobile phone. I need to order now and i know a lot of things about these wathes but not what is relevant to order them, which, who ..

Please give me some expert help. :) :) :)

  6. I believe that it unscrew by the back, but it has no standard holes for tools. You need something that attach to the logo if you have to do it as it should.

To open it i would ask a watch expert.

If i were to open it, i could try some kind of rubber piece pressed to the back and rotate it in the hope that friction would be enough to unscrew it.

I would like to see the "official tool", it sould be curious ....

Thank you for the sources of accumulators

  7. I have a nice Citizen Eco-Drive that it is at least 10 years old, probably 13 or 15.

It have served me well and i would like to change the accumulator (it is charged by solar light in the front) at a reasonable cost. I have ear high prices for AD changes here in Europe.

Can you recommend a cheap way to buy the battery and to open it?

    Thank you

The back of the watch (How can it be opened?) :
