  1. Just my take on this - I have never bought replicas before. I'm still deciding and cashing up to find one I like! But I won't pay the extra for a ETA.

First of all the watch isn't genuine - so what chance is there that the movement would be genuine? I have seen many replicas on here that do have genuine ETA movement. But I'm not sure that a replica watch would have this sort of movement... Secondly - how will I ever know? I'm just going to wear the watch and maybe one day send it to a trusted person to service it. I probably would of got bored of the watch and bought a new replica before it breaks down on me.

And finally, I've read too many people buy the ETA versions and find out they get a clone! I would rather accept that my watch isn't a Swiss watch. And just buy a clone. After all, the watch is a clone!

If I want a Swiss-movement watch - my watch will be a genuine Swiss watch.

    Just my two cents!

  2. Hello!

I still haven't quite made up my mind on which rep to buy! I am really enjoying the choices though but it's difficult to finally buy one. I like the pepsi-bezel GMT Master 2. So much that this will actually be my first ever rep! :D

I have looked at all the trusted-dealers on this site and they all seem to sell the same watch, well in appearences? But I have noticed that one dealer is selling the watch but the movement in the picture doesn't match all the other dealers? All say it is a genuine ETA?

Please can someone identify the movement in this picture, http://www.kingshowbox.com/goods.php?id=1152 and compare it to thise picture http://www.1-pc8838.com/rlgs10009-retro-edition-master-bluered-pepsi-bezel-p-3493.html

I am not saying it isn't an ETA, just want to double check with experts.

    Thanks so much!

  3. I've always wanted a rep Daytona, but unfortunately it's two choices; a) buy the seconds at 6 model which actually looks quite good, but won't last - or B) buy the seconds at 9, but place this side by side to the real one and even a child can say which is real (providing they know what the real one is!) It's a shame, but buying a replica Daytona at the moment isn't something I'm prepared to do. :(

  4. I'm not an expert at all! But if I had to geuss, I'd say replica. I think it's a replica because the O in Rolex is a little high... and the D in Date is a very little bit wonky! But still I love the two-tone submariner so I'd buy one!

Please say if it's a replica or the genuine!

  5. Thanks! But they can't both meet? If one hand is pointing at 9 and the green hand pointing at 3 it's not possible for the hands to meet? But on the watch I want to buy it has the incorrect hand staking.

I'm loaded and ready! Just need the cash now!

  6. Hi and thanks! Yes that is helpful. I will read that review now and try to work out what exactly is the difference! Also I just want to have the green hand pointing to a second-time zone (about 6 hours behind GMT) is that possible and will the watch keep this time as well as the normal time?

Thanks so much! I'm buying that watch so soon now!

  7. Hi RWG,

I have decided on which replica I want to buy but I read that to get the watch lasting I need to have it serviced. The movement in replica I want is the A7750. I am in the UK and I'd like to know who could I ask about servicing. Also do you know how much it could be for a good service for this watch? By the way, it's the Omega Seamaster Professional Chronograph replica!

    Thanks!

  8. Hello! Thanks a lot for you're message. I have sort of made my mind that that watch is a little bit too obvious it's the replica model... I don't mean offence to the maker but the subdials and wording don't look original. I mean it's nice, but not what I am looking for! :( But I saw this watch, but the black version! It looks absolutely fantastic! Apparently it's also a very good replica! I think I might buy one. http://www.puretimewatch.com/product/seamaster-chrono-diver-black-2008/ is this a trusted seller? As the watch is black not the blue version it is still as accurate as the blue one?

    Thanks!

  9. Hello RWG!

I'm new here, but I'm a little bit familiar with watches! I only recently stumbled upon replica's and I am quite interested in forming a collection! My favourite watch company is Omega and I love chronographs. I've found a chronograph watch on this website. http://www.1-pc8838.com/omse10012-divers-chrono-25945200-black-a7750-28800bph-p-2926.html I had a look on here now and it's a trusted seller? Also, is this watch actually a replica of a real model? I looked on Omega's website and it's not shown. I would like advise on whether this watch is visually good replica. I google about the movement and that seems to be not bad! Is this a good watch?

    Thanks!
