When it comes to asain or swiss, most times when you pay for the swiss you get a mismatch of swiss and asain parts. Go for the asain eta and if you have any problems have it serviced and it will run as good as the swiss.
this is what we call "swinesse" movt. anyway for me, i would rather buy an Asian movt and have it serviced. anyway just some heads up to OP, the last i've check with Toro, about 1-2 weeks back, he only has the Swiss movt available.

just a quick check, the notch inbetween the lugs are quite annoying, has anyone tried straps with curved ends? something like those from Omega POs?
-
having already owned the 42mm pumpkin version which is imho one of the best omega otb reps, but would love to lay my hands on the 45.5mm as i love big watches! hopefully soon by then all the flaws will be fixed!
-
i'm curious too if the those gen parts that are available from cousinuks or ofrei which the current UPO v5 accepts could also be installed on these new CPOs?
-
heres a quick wristie of mine!

based on some recent research, there are a few makers who you can source for IWC BP straps.
*not ranked in any order...

Agree much better but if you are anal then its still off..... however I am happy with the height.... The V6 has other issues I think are much more telling for those that know
Hey PeteM, what are the "tells" on the V6? I'm actually considering getting the Big Bang 44mm Steel Ceramic 2011 soon from the TDs. Appreciate if you could share abit as imanoob when it comes to Hublot.

thanks for the awesome pics! this new 219 superep really looks freaking good! its really scary as for a min there i thought it was a gen when i first saw the pics, and the CG is really nice! almost bears some uncanny resemblance to those sold by the CG specialist modders.
wear it well mate! think im about to hop on the 219 bandwagon soon!
-
Yep it does
thanks for the headsup!
A small correction, B - OEM 24/25 sub crystals are 3.5mm thick. The only crystals thinner than 3.5mm are on chrono models (2mm) and some 40mm PR models (2.5mm). Special edition 1km & 2.5km subs are 5mm+ thick with a monster 194 at 5.9mm thick.
wow thanks for the detailed breakdown on all the available xtals, might consider replacing the xtal on the dsn 24A with an ultimate one.
-
just curious, would a crystal off an ultimate 199 fit a dsn 24/25 caseset?
-
will there be a GTG soon? i would love to see this baby too!

the 312 is really popular, almost as popular as the Luminor Bases over here where i am.
i believe the cartels and dealers are already selling this model too rite? but am not sure if its accurate or gen-like enuff thou.
-
Hi mates,
just wana find out between this 2 dials, which one is more accurate and genlike?
I understand that the Ultimate's second hands dial's grey colour is a tad too dark compared to the Gen, but im not sure about DSN's version.
Any kind inputs is greatly appreciated!
Cheers!

Wear them in good health!
Cheers!

Hi Mate,
Im not sure if this method does help, a friend was telling me that he used red tea to create the aged look.
mayb other fellow enthusiast can chime in on other known methods too?

JLC NSD On Different Strap
in Other Brands Area
Posted · Edited by Asheron82
I think I read somewhere on the gen forums that someone did successfully mount a hirsch on his JLC NSD though but there are no pics to back up his claim.
http://forum.tz-uk.com/showthread.php?187100-JLC-Master-Compressor-Navy-SEALs-Pic-fest/page2 scroll to the 5th post by Andy where he mentioned about mounting a Hirsch Medici.
