  1. I just received my Omega 300 m chrono with gloss black dial and white skeleton hands. BP factory with 7750.The subdails are also gloss black.

When iI visited 2 different ad's i they both had the same model with matt black subdails and silver skeleton hands.

Can anyone shed more light on if the factories if any is producing this model. I actually like the matt black subdails.

    thank you very much

  2. Good news for everyone looking for the new style metal band for your older automatics. Older meaning pre quick release button like pam 237H ect.

Great was my surprise when I received my metal band from Military time watch in Hong Kong. the strap comes with new end pieces that fits perfectly.

    No more trying to mod.

  3. Can anyone help where I can get a new set of gaskets foe my Pam 328 and pam 359. My watchmaker heated the watches to take the crystals out for Ar treatment. Unfortunately the silicon shrank. I have 2 beatyfull watches with fantastic AR and no gaskets. I have asked and no one has been able to point me in the right direction yet. Kroexist has done a PVD pam 312 wiith new gaskets. Can someone please help

  4. I have one from Puretime, didn't like it much. I ordered a 74 strap Jose maria. Brilliant strap, but still did not like the watch that much. out of desperation for everyone talks about the" fiddy" i sent it off to taka. Much, much better, but still I am in two minds to keep it. I love the autos, 222, 091, 029 and the 390 and 111 even the rad 380 keeps on my wrist, some how I cant fall in love with the 127.

  5. yes i forgot to mention that the split second is a faux. It doesn't bother me and I have asked my watch maker to take off the second second hand for it looks funny from the side. I must say that the face is much, much nicer than the 288. I have both and will probable keep both, but definatly the 214 will stay in my colection

  6. I have both a 288 and 214 from angus. They are exactetly the same quality. The only differance is I like the face of the 214 more. Because the 214 has an open back and obvious the mechanism is vissable it is not so much loved. If I would consider selling one it woild be the 288

  7. Maybe I am not clear enough. What I mean is I own a gen Omega seamater and the ss strap does not have any harsh edges, not like the rep Panarei ss strap I bought from militery time. The finished product must have the same smooth edge finnish as the gen. You mention griding, maybe to take the small buur off, but I was thingking more of a buffing with some sort of grinding paste. The strap feels allright, I think the last process was not done as the OEM would have done it

  8. Hi has anyone attemted in buffing a panerai stailess steel bracelet. I would like to round the edges with out damaging the the factory finnish on the the face of the braclet. can anyone point me to a tutorial if some one has made one. I purchased a pencil grinder, buffer for the purpase and would also like to know what paste and buffs to use. thank you

  9. If I can add my 2 cents. I own one of those "ultimate" 11h and now 3 from sead(111h,111hPVD,177h).There is a day and night differance. My humble opinion spend the money on a proper modded one. Yes it is $450 but by comparison $5000 for gen it is in my option so close. Good luck, I have thrown my "ultimate" 111h away.
