DW case was 190, 7734 movement is like 250, yuki hands is 50, combining parts and servicing is like 100-200. Estimated 600-700? Add 250 for black bezel on it.

I'd think you'd be looking at 4x that price for a watch in worse shape, so no its not gen I would say.

I think I'm going to go for another one though if DW comes back, a grey with silver bezel and black with black bezel; some nice contrast depending on my mood.

Yuki has a tudor monte carlo in blue for the dial that takes a valjoux 234, anyone know if its possible to secure a case for it?

I'm trying to use a 2783 but the hand isnt fitting, I'm wondering is there a piece that came off my movement? Like the larger chunk that fits on the pin that the hour hand sits on?

thanks for the nice comments, planned upgrades are gen crown/tube and a new insert and crystal, prolly clarks and a josh insert with the vintage pearl.

Sure was a pain, the crystal i used was way to big for the insert to fit, so i had to shave it down with the dremel, then repolish it with said tool.

As of now im just considering, cream vintage relume towards a yellow tone and bleach insert, or let it be? what say you?.

I would leave it as it is and let it fade naturally, fading the insert a tiny tiny bit could be okay though. My opinion is formed by this, so nice looking:

I'm kinda hoping its not repped, something this nice deserves to be a rarity.

Heres a pretty straight one I found if it helps, text is kind of covered a bit though.

One thing I notice is the markers beside the indices are pretty thick, even for a non-crisp image.

Count me in to buying a couple if you get them all nice like. I would prefer buying from someone on this forum rather than yuki assuming they look comparable in quality.

If you applied a lot more matte varnish would it damage the dial at all, I was hoping to go for a super matte vintage look and was wondering if anyones tried it.
