Me too. Thoughts anyone??

How significant are the lume differences?
Both look great! Congrats on the new piece. Wear in good health.
Again my cellphone pix don't really show the pair off very well. The colour of the lume is identical in natural light as well as in the dark - I was seriously shocked at how close the two are and as each day goes by I regret buying the genuine watch more and more. I've pretty much decided to sell it and keep the rep. The only downside with the rep is that I can't hop in the pool without worrying, but that's no biggie.

Thought you might be interested to see pix of my DSN rep side by side with my new genuine 112.
Seeing the two together has really demonstrated the high quality of the DSN rep which has served me well over the last year or so.
In these pix there appears to be a few size differences, this is due to the position of the lens, both watch cases are absolutely identical.
I can only find two 'tells' and both would be nigh on impossible to spot in the wild and you'd have to be a Pam owner/expert to work them out.
I was going to sell the DSN rep, but you know what, I'm actually toying with flicking the gen instead as the two are so very very close. Might flick the gen and keep it's rubber strap for the DSN. My rep has an ETA mvmt and has been really reliable, more so than my gen Rolex Sub!!!
I'll try and take a few more proper camera pix later if anyone's interested.
Sadly I hear the quality of DSN's work has gone down since I bought mine and I also gather no more Swiss ETA's either :-(.

No need to pm me for the dealer, got it from Josh. Unreal service and communication. Better than ever. He has established a new presentation format that is the best I have seen in the seven years I have been dealing on this forum.
I am a diver watch guy. I would love it if someone would rep the New 50 Fathoms, that being said, the AP is the best quality rep of all the other divers I currently own.
Hi,
I see you got the watch from Josh, is that Josh at Perfect Clones?
He generally offers a number of movement options, which one did you go for?
I basically want to make sure I get the same watch as you from the same source as it's so good.
If you dont mind what did you pay for it?
Considering any more AP's?

I would say its a very nice example, the case back looks spot on and the movement is very nice, Dagger might have slipped under the regulator.
What do you think is more important than what we think ?
Thanks. From the front and rear the case seems good, I'm still weighing up the accuracy of the side views and also the crown tube etc - like I say it look pretty good to me.

Looks like poop
What's wrong with it? Is this any better;

+1
Or a little more patience might prove fruitful..
The 292 is updated version... its only one of 3 released & updated next generation reps from the factories..
292 is black ceramic or pvd, I'm a s/s man really, or is there a s/s 292??
I really wanna be patient, trouble is I've gots me a gen on hold for the equiv of cUS$4,100. Based in UK and ready to wend it's way to NZ tax free............hmmm.........must do more thinking.
-
And what about a DSN 232?
Isn't that 47mm? Think I prefer 45mm or even 42mm although not aware of any 42mm reps.
Still just love the 210!
-
I've just been having some corro with Josh who very honestly said his 210 wasn't the best and directed me to his 292 as he felt that was more accurate and also better value. I'm a bit perplexed as I'd assume they came from the same place??
Nice looking watch and I very much appreciate his candor, however I'm not really a PVD/Ceramic kind of guy, I realy want a 210, I love it's simplicity. Actually this doesn't strike me as a hard watch to rep (but I don't really know much). Can anyone help me out here, especially 210 owners.
I recall seeing a few prior posts that suggested Radiomir reps in general weren't quite on a par with the more popular Luminor's. I guess the Rad isn't so popualr so I guess less effort has gone into them?
Anyhow some advice'd be great.
I'm actually part way down the road to pulling the trigger on a Gen but methinks that won't sit well with her indoors!

did you read my post? if yes, you know what to do next....
Duly noted my friend, really wanted to know aside from going the WTB route who sells, as new, something close to BK's fine work. I guess no one.
-
Hi guys, I've just had a note he can't get all the parts he needs so no BK YM for me.
What's the next best thing and why??
Shame I missed out, feel really dissapointed, but that's life!

nm - double post
-
I've just been looking at a few of the better reps out there including BK's stupendous work.
Am I going mad or are the numbers on many rep bezel inserts white rather than the correct bare aluminium you'd see on a gen?
-
Oh was that a GV.If yes how does the green crystal look?

Hello there!
Mine is from Josh - an outstanding rep that makes me happy every time I look at the dial. Sitting om my wrist ever since I bought it and I go swimming with it no problem.
There was a little issue with a crown sitting not centered on the clasp, so I contacted Josh and wanted to change the clasp. Josh immediately sent me a whole new 72400 bracelet (!).
I would definiely recommend Josh as a dealer, otherwise I recon most of the reps coming from the same factory. Here comes a little eyecandy
Good to know. Which movement did you go for? I'm toying with Swiss ETA.
-
No worries mate. Happy to hear you sorted it out!
So is anyone going to sort me out - I like the look of this rep, where did it come from? Josh?
I was thinking of getting a Swiss ETA Milly from Josh. Is it worthwhile spending the extra on ETA, are the cheaper Asian Mvts just as good. I actually thought the availability of Swiss ETA was poor.
Any advice on Milly options would be really appreciated. As mentioned in a prior post I'm looking at c$300 from josh, what other options are out there eitherside of this??
Cheers.

where did this rep come from, I'm looking to find a qood quality GV.
-
I'm about to pull the trigger on his RLM00088 with Swiss ETA.
Has anyone got/seen one of these examples, should i be paying slightly more elsewhere or is this a fairly good rep.
I got a PAM02a from DSN and loved it, will I feel the same about PC's Milgauss? Hard one to answer as a bit subjective I know.
Any feedback you can give on this particualr rep and possible alternatives'd be very much appreciated.
-
Just BK lol... you will be very happy
I emailed him earlier so we'll see if he can help. I have no idea of cost! Thanks for your reply.
-
Seems to me after a bit of searching BK might just be the man, anyone else?
Has anyone bought a YM recently, any observations you'd care to make or advice you'd like to offer??
-
I tend to go to Josh/pc for reps. Who else is doing the SOH better?
-
Josh and BK (and most other dealers) source their watches from the same pool of factories.
Josh is a store owner. BK is a watchsmith/modder. Josh sells a factory-issued watch. BK sells a watch which has been inspected and modified for accuracy and/or durability.
Think of it like this .. Josh might sell you a Mercedes, but BK sells you an AMG Mercedes. It's modded.
Ah, i thought that was the case! Hopefully I'll hear from BK soon.
Panerai 112 Box & Strap - Saleable/Value
in The Panerai Area
Posted
I owned a 112 which I recently lost so have a PAM510 coming to me by way of replacement. I'm left with all of the packaging (inner/outer box, warranty card, bezel protector etc) from the 112 along with the rubber strap (no buckle). Do you think these items have "reasonable" value and are worth selling?
I looked on ebay and Chrono24 and have seen similar for sale, but am not sure of true worth.
Thoughts?
