kinda interesting as these are not inexpensive gens..
if they made the change to a better bracelet to the new ceramic sub, that explains the difference in price. the reg sub is 4700 and the new ceramic sub is 7250. saving my pennies.. someday!
-
I have recently purchased the Sub non-ceramic version from a member here. The watch is perfect and Im sporting it daily. My question is the bracelet. It seems really light and hollow feeling. Also forgive me but it sounds kinda tingy when it moves on my wrist.
Is this a sure sign of a rep? I went to try on the ceramic version at the AD and I dont remember the bracelet feeling this way. it was almost like a piece of jewelry it was so substantial.
maybe this was one of the changes rolex made when they went to the ceramic?
I guess I would like some guidance on if the gen bracelet of the non ceramic sub and its feel. if it was also hollow, light and tingy then I wont worry.
thanks in advance!

really? small watches? hmmm i guess i dont see that in my parts... i see bigger omegas, bell and ross, breit and etc.
i will take a look more closely... 38mm is more like a woman's trendy watch in my opinion
thanks for the thoughts

In the days of u boat and bell and ross, what is the biggest rolex? I tried the deepsea and the face is sooo tiny. any thoughts?

I had a br03 in that sale PVD and color combo and found it was very hard to read...the black and blue just wash each other out... just my opinion so be careful

hmmm where are you finding the chrono in the 2824? looking myself but date wheel is so sunken that it really just screams rep and not gen.
sure your looking at the chrono's?

Hello All! Just got a 50mm U-boat and I know it is not for everyone but I really like it. Its a keeper...
with that, the lume stinks to say the least. All good but I would like to ask where to look?
I have heard the names Vac and Kent Parks but wanted to hear from others (maybe even u-boat owners) where they would recommend.
thanks in advance!

Nervous about that movement... is the extra to get ETA worth it? looking for a leather or rubber band to to dress down the PO.

Newbie here but has caught the bug. JUst ordered a Rolex from BK and want to complete (or so i think) my collection with a resonably priced planet ocean. At this time, an ultimate is too far of a reach for me. Looking for something under $200.
I know where to go to get super high quality, but what I would like to ask (be nice) is suggestions on where to find a good (not great) watch for that price.
easy to get the best, harder to find the "good" for budget in this case.
thanks in advance

Attaching a photo of the genuine watch to your email will be a good idea.

I see a black on black 94 in ur collection. Are u happy with? I know we aren't supposed to ask but where did u get? Looks like the date wheel is flush.
Love that black on black with white or orange.
Thanks for ur response.

Thanks a bunch!! I'm a newbie but I have a feeling this will be one of many purchases!
Will check joshua's site as he has quickly answered all 6 of my emails which is just amazing in this sometimes questionable area of business.

I appreciate the response. I've certainly got the bug and want to make a purchase in the next 24 to 48 hours.
Any thoughts on where is going with ss and black face with either white or orange markings? I have seen some pics of that combo and looks nice.
I don't mind spending some money on this purchase though as I don't have a b and r yet

I have decided to go with the simple 92 rather than the busy 94. Checked with joshua and he said the 92's are very hard to get accurate. any thoughts on where i can find a black/black face with white numbers?
looking for a asap purchase.
quality is important as joshua's 94 he said is very accurate and is approx 350 us.
thanks!

New member here, been trolling around for quite sometime and havent really seen to much on this watch but want to make first purchase. I have done my homework and joshua and andrew are the front runners on where to go.
Question is, which on is more accurate? Better selection? I have looked and looked for the 96 model with no luck. Any thoughts there as well... want a simple non-chrono model.
thanks very much...i look forward to reading the replies.... be nice...
