Sorry no idea but looks pretty cool, no markings names at all on it If so maybe have to open case look at movement.

The A stands for ALPINA watch I think

Hard to say without opening the caseback, a look on the movement could possibly reveal more. The configuration is typical and very similar to the Cortebert Spéciale, cal 616. I have this for a vintage PAM build as the movement is the same/similar to the Rolex used in first PAMs. Solid winding, good time-keeping after all these Years:)

  2. Hi,

I was still looking for the HERMES cape cod strap. The genuine sells with the long, twice around the wrist strap.

So I give this a second try on the forum.

My wife s birthay is comming up soon. Either the CAPE COD with long strap or the seperately sold strap can help.

    sure somebody has a link.

    cheers

  4. I found my grand dads pocket watch.I Couldn t find any brand on it. A nice engraving of a train on the back.

The dial has an 'A' just under the 12.

Seens the age of my grand dad, the watch must be from 1910.Europe. Any idea where to find out more of these pocketwatches?

    cheers

  5. hi

I just received the Audemar Piguet Royal oak off shore.White dial, black rubber bezel I was a bit disapointed. Too difficult to read the time. Contrast of the white dial and the descrete hands.

Is it difficult to change the hands?

The push crown for the chrone has small rubber covers. They are just pulled over the crown. Scary,,,to fall off.

    Should I glue them on?
