  1. Well, I am going to start off here then; My mother recently finished her education to become a skin care therapist (or something like that). A couple of weeks ago she showed up at our house with some weird looking bottles and tubes and told me that she wanted me to try some shaving cream + some 100% natural after shave balm. "Hell, no!" was my initial reaction. I've been using shaving foam for the last 20 years and I didn't see the need to change. Anyway, I did try it and I was so disappointed. I LOVED it. (Don't you just hate it when your mother still knows best :D ) The shaving cream just made a thin, oily white layer on my skin that made the razor glide really well. It is supposed to prevent razor burns and ingrown hair. Don't have tu much of a problem with any, but any problems I've had are all gone. So now I am hooked. Recently ordered some shaving cream from Anthony Logistics + after shave balm and I have to admit that I am really satisfied with it. It contains some peppermint leaf extract (peppermint oil, I guess) so I am left with a really refreshing feeling when I have shaved. Anybody else have any experiences with this stuff?

Been using shaving "cream" for about 5 years now...will never use foam again. I too use the Anthony Logistics brand...but only when my main choice Lab Series for Men is not on the shelf. The Lab Series line actually has a small percentage of benzocaine in it to help numb your skin on the hard shaving days. I don't use after shave balm though.

Props to my fave razor...the Gilette Sensor Excel as well.

  2. Since I began serious collecting in 2002, I never had this happen to me. I hit my 5 month old PreciousTime GMT IIC on a door and the crystal popped right out. Not a mark was made anywhere (thank god...I think). I was looking through the repair forum and am not sure how to go about fixing this...

    Do I/Can I:

    1. Do it myself w/o a press?

    2. Do I have to send her out?

I am really lacking on the skills and tools (only have a Dremel Stylus). This is by far in my top 2 fave pieces EVER and am lost without it.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated...

  3. Sorry guys. I think you took it the wrong way. I meant I just wanted one that will pass easily for the gen and not easily spotted. I want it to be as real as possible and I want the Chrono to work. I already have an Omega Planet Ocean Chrono that is outstanding quality so I am more than happy with replicas. I just want a good one. When I said price is not the problem I meant in replica terms no Gen money.

Hope this clears thing up. Who would be my best bet?

no need to clear things up...you have been very clear in the 3 of your 6 posts so far on this board. It is also clear that you should not be getting a replica of this watch.

Also...thanking those who have given you a place to start and went out of their way to help you would be nice too. <_<

  4. Nice illustration! Wish I had the skills you have...I had my heart broken last week when the crystal on my ICHS from PT just popped right out...clean as a whistle. Never saw anything like it! I doesn't even look like it had a lip or edge that went under the bezel...looks like it was just wedged in there???

I wore her every day for 6 straight months and now my heart is broken ;(

  5. I too am sorry to hear about your problem. My ETA ihs from PT is one of the best reps I have ever purchased in the 8 years Ive been doing this. 2 months straight on my wrist and it is literally better than when I got it.

the bracelet was very "jangly" (sic) and it has since quieted down.

  6. do you mean perfectlytrustywatchclone?

they are partners in as much as anyone in their industry can be

before they launched their empire - Josh was a small dealer in high end pieces with a small photobucket acct.

andrew sold primarily 100 asian reps

Eddie Lee and River were the big dealers - paulmart was always big and cheap and unreliable.

    josh's customer service was amazing

    king didn't speak english

the day Perfect Clones was launched the rep forum world changed forever.

josh has maintained his customer service BUT has also used his position to price fix and jack up prices on all of us hence the "Cartel" threads

    king still can't speak english

    history lesson over

Job well-done my friend...that pretty much covers the bases. Where does PreciousTime fit in?

  7. Hi all.

This is my favorate photo of GMT Master llC.

I try to get a GEN pose :D, Let's see your GMT Master!

    Ricoh-R5-0081-mark.jpg

This is by far my favorite Rolex. So sharp and classy!!! Both of my MBW GMT II's finally went after 4 years and I am looking to replace them with this...just not sure how the ceramic coated insert is going to look.

Frankly...all of these look genuine to me...are any of these a rep?

  8. Ouch :o

Tell me Rolex didn't actually release something like this

Whenever Im bored & searchin the Bay for Rolex goodies...I always come across some models I could never imagine Rolex even releasing...many looking like the one above. All iced out...colorful...just not right.

    Gaudy as all he11

  9. I just got one from a member who never wore it...still had plastic on it. Orig from EL...

She is schweet...but just as speedie said...it is "VERY WEIGHTY AND MEATY". It is by far the heaviest watch I own...and easily the largest in size. Keep in mind I never caught the PAM bug.

I love it...I never use the chronos...so as long as the seconds keep workin...and time is accuarate...Im very very satisfied. The only noticable innacuracie "at a glance"...is the sub-dial issue. Other than that...looks good. Nice bracelet and case!

Of course it could be ripped apart as many of the 7750's are in Rolex or Omega reps...but I think shes a winner fo sho...

  10. how long is the warranty? I have a lot of doubts about these winders. I got one from ebay (8 watch winders) that lasted less than 6 months. if you can find out how long the warranty are on these, I would be interested. and is only the 2 watch one available? or is there a 4 watch winders as well? Thanks.

    I got a 4 watch winder...good brand too...think it was a Steinhausen...damn thing broke in 6 months too!!!

I really wouldnt mind this one either...keep me posted please!

  11. I love my VC Overseas and have had it serviced by The Zigmeister, superlumed, and Double ARed...BUT, i have the old incorrect clasp. Where did you get the correct clasp or replacement bracelet. I asked Angus and he said that there have been several versions so he wasn't sure if a replacement bracelet would fit. I emailed my favorite dealer Eddie Lee, but he's MIA.

Any input on an EL VC Overseas?? :victory:

I was fortunate enough to get this one from Dave (promotersf). The double AR and Superlume on it are short of amazing. This is by far my fave watch...the bracelet is sooooo beautiful. I had it on today and it commandeered two compliments within first two hours of the day...something I havent had at work in a while.

The only thing I would change on this is the clasp.

Thanks for the trade Dave...you da man!

  12. Hi this watch has grown on to me overtime.. and now i feel like i want to buy the swiss eta upgraded version.. i don't know if a review has been done on here b4.. but the thing is that my internet is capped (24k speed).. so ive been trying to use the search button for the last 3 hrs.. and i got no where.. some reviews i could NOT even opened :(.. stupid slow internet!!! so your help would be really appreciated ....

my question is.. what are the flaws of this watch compared to the gen? (are there any flaws like the logo on omega or datefont on tag carrera, etc?).. i would like to know .. and are these flaws fixable? thanks very much

ArminVanBuuren...i can't believe you have to post on this board with all of the touring you do across the world...being you're one of the top trance DJ's of this era ;)

I dont know about the Silix version...but many are 8mm thick and not the actual 10mm thick (small flaw). And the date font is totally off...but again...with a VC...most won't know a damn thing regardless.
