  1. i must apologize for my skills as there a bit rusty (note the rolled up football sock for a cushion!) ill hopefully get some kind of a light box knocked up tonight and take some better pics of all my watches (as crappy as some of them are )

At first look, my thought was that you just practicing use of that diver extension on your sweater instead of proper diver suit  !

Anyway, in my case, same watch, same source (no pics, sorry!). Not same problems.

My piece is with centered pearl and aligned crystal/cyclop date window.

But in my case, the bezel insert was not properly aligned with dial markings  .

Not so easy job to fix it. But after short messing with sharp knife I managed to took complete bezel off :black_eye: , pop insert out and realigned it (just couple of drops of the glue).

Regarding pearl, I think that it is just glued on the insert. Maybe is worth to carefully remove pearl (with a little help of heat from hairdryer) and then just re-glue it properly. Just my 2 cents!

Rotating the crystal - not an easy job for the average Joe. Just my opinion.

For crown/guards look at this gen LV Sub:

Dont spend to much time looking on that watch - wear it! :thumbsupsmileyanim:

  2. Weak is too "weak" word. In more stronger words - lume is there, but luminosity (glow effect) of it is nowhere.

My Paul's "So called perfect SUB" which is very similar, if not equal to this "best one", keeps luminoscity of dial, hands and pearl, no more than 5 minutes even after exposing it to very strong light source (couple of minutes under 25 W halogen lamp at 5 cm distance). Whole thing is even worse under plain daylight!

At 0300 AM I have great trouble to even find where is the bloody watch, there is not a slight sign of the luminosity.

    PS

I am not sure that I use proper spelling for "luminosity" - but I am sure that you know what I mean  .

  3. Very classy, especially with that leather strap. It goes well with that white dial. :thumbsupsmileyanim:

On the other side, too bad for that lonely but indeed :brow: , really good SS bracelet - not a pair with white dial, but with lets say... :g: blue one with silver markings on it - that will be really different story.

And of course, no signs of utterly wrong "constellation" engravings on the backside!

Don't waste your time, enjoy your watch! B)

  4. This doesn't mean I don't like gold watches, even my 2 first replicas were Rolex TT Subs. Far from it, I absolutely adore many TT models, including this Navitimer. I just feel I'm a bit too young to comfortably wear gold. Gold doesn't generally go well with bulky and masculine sports models,

But isn't two tone just right to wear for the middleaged mans, (not too young/not to old)? :brow:

    Great review, as usual! :thumbsupsmileyanim:

I already ordered mine (exactly this Tricompax, Black face/w bars TT Navitimer), couple days before By-tor wrote this great review. After this, my patience is really on low :( . But, patience is gold (mine is obviously just 5 micron plated).

I am just curious, is there any signs of any AR coating? I can't see any on By-tors pictures. Or is that just newbie's eye? B)
