  1. A modder who says "You are too picky" is a modder you should run away from

Sorry you lost the pearl and crown... that sucks

Get the pearl, crown and tubes (7020 and 702) from Athaya: athaya.rave@yahoo.com

    Get the hands from TC

Do the mod yourself.  I think everything else looks great.

    i totally agree.

in one message when i have requested some pics of cg shape, ( the only pics sent are that posted here in that moment ) he answered he is a modder , not a potographer. ohoooo!! isnt a problem for me to go on with my project mate, for sure i continue as your advice, but all the users have to know this incredible story...

and why he doesnt still write on 3d in your opinion ?

this story is 2 month old... i wanted wait ado213 answer and explanation...but no way for him. so.. imho anyone can make mistake , important is to solve , to give excuses , and to give respect. i think he isnt of the same idea...

  2. yes mendota.

you are right. perfectly understood...yes i have post pics with crown and pearl..and he has sent to me pics with his mods also..he has sent to me pics of pearl mounted..(you can see the glues around triangle at12 ) and after mi comment about burned hands before...lv hands after...info about cg shape with some pics requests..he has write to me im too picky.. and has resent all parts back to me..totally disassembled..and without pearl and mbw crown.he told i havent sent that items....no words.

  3. thanks fot your advice Panerai153 , i can consider to convert in low beat my movement..but now i want to give esthetic priotity to my project, and i agree with alligoat that LV hands are the worst choice that a modder can use for a vintage project...

i told same thing to ado , and after that he has totally disassembled this 1680 and resent back to my home.

no pearl inside and no mbw crown inside to the package.
i have asked him info about.
and he has answered that i have never sent to him pearl and mbw crown... after all the fact reletaed to this 1680 mod project...is the last step that confirm is a total failure...

now i have to clarify where is my pearl and crown..and after choose the best way to go...

    :\

  5. It is possible to go down the 'plug' option...

Assuming you are not a deep sea diver who uses a decompression chamber then what need have you of a helium valve? I was recently faced with this dilemma when I wanted to improve the look of my 1665 MBW He valve and I opted for the MBW 'valve' to be drilled out (but not drilled all the way through to the inner case) but replaced it with a visually accurate but non functional 'valve'. See below:

    good!

mate, was in the past a 1680 sub  this ?

  6. hi guys

    maybe i am crazy... smiley.gif
yesterday during watching my dw 1680 case , an idea light my brain..
the case is very close to a 1665 sea dweller , oly HEV is not present on that...so...
in my mind a question is born.. is it possible to drill the side of the dw case for add an HEV ?
anyone has tried or is impossible to do ?
may be i am crazy... smiley.gif but i am very curious to hear your opinions
