Not a listed dealer here, but if you're interested look this over: http://www.replica-watches-guide.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=14896

I personally think that any QC pictures should take as is, no guarantee; as far as they send a watch that looks just like the one on the picture you will not be able to tell the difference.
Even if it is completely in the realm of possibility, it is a pessimistic position IMO. The dealers that do send Q.C. pics could simply forgo with the practice, if it is as you possibly suggest.

Trailboss99, The "Fearless leader" at RWG re-posted from next door (where ever that is) a very precise response to your question.

Just went you thought it was safe, a real bummer. Sorry for your loss.

By the awesome number of posting I have, you can tell I am relatively new as well.
Well here goes.
1. Some do and some don't. I think it's fair to assume the dealers sending out Q.C. (quality control) photos are handling each watch before being shipped.
2. With all components being the same, I would use Bloomingdale's and Macy's as an example. A sweater from same manufacturer sells for $250.00 at one store and $75.00 at the other.
3. Replicas have varying the degrees of exactness (gen like vs. fantasy) different types of movement: quartz, 21J, eta vs. Asian, etc. etc.
Best answers I have, but I am sure some one much more knowledgeable will be along to add more info and correct any inaccuracies of mine.

Welcome!
You've found the perfect place if you want to learn more about replicas, fascinating things.
I recommend you start by reading this fantastic introduction.
So what are you considering as a first rep? Any ideas?
Well I find myself gravitating towards a DSSD. Love the look, just trying to determine which version. Does Ver.4 have the correct dial finish?

Hello folks.
I'm from Panama, now residing in Atlanta. Just started collecting watches a year ago. I was looking to purchase my first "Rep" and luckily found this site. Glad to be a member and hope to make my first purchase after learning a bit more from all the good people here.
