Beautiful strap.. So nooby question, if Vac just changed the lume color, did that change the color of the markers or hands at all? I've heard that some 187 owners are reporting that some of their markers are fading, will Vac's mod protect from that?

That's a stunning watch, my friend! I have not seen one in person, is the GMT hand as long as it looks? It seems longer than the gen's. The rep's seems to go right to the bottom of the small numbers, while the gen's seems to just graze the tops.. or am I wrong? Wear it with pride!

Am I the only one that finds this utterly disturbing? He's upset about his teenage daughter being rebellious? I don't think I've ever met a teenager that wasn't rebellious, it's a part of growing up. I would bet you any money that as a teenager he questioned what his parents asked of him. Didn't we all? Was she disrespectful? Sure, she was. But are his actions going to change that? I highly doubt it. And why destroy the laptop? Why not donate it to an underprivileged child in their community? and grounding... for a year? What is that going to do but give her even more time to be resentful. Make her help out at a homeless shelter instead. It'll show her how well she has it. Is it really legal in the States to discharge your weapon at home? In a residential community? That's scary, if it is. And 6 hours for an IT guy to update a laptop? That's like a watch smith spending 6 hours swapping a movement. Ugh!

Yes, and it's up to you to remember if the country you set your second time zone to is behind or ahead of your own. Here in Taiwan, my watch reads (yes, I taught it to read) 9:15 but my GMT hand is set to just after 5 as it's 5:15 in Vancouver, Canada. But it's 9:15am Wed here and 5:15pm Tues there! On some watches you can hide the GMT hand by setting it directly behind the hour hand, as they rotate at the same speed
