Sweet jesus that is just so sweet! Love the artistic shots
Do you have any lume shots? What is the lume like on the gen dial?

Nice, I will have to give this a try!! Thanks Dan!

Nice watch, you can't get called out on that one . I am getting the inspiration to Franken my PO 45mm.
Is it even possible to franken a PO 45mm? I thought it was impossible, which is why I put mine up for trade for a 42mm... If it can indeed be a Franken, I might as well hold on to mine, since it's in brand new condition lol..

Goin6633 is located in Taiwan and does quite a bit of lume jobs. His specialty is Pams.. but I think he can do pretty much anything.
Takashi is located in Singapore and is known as Taka or 2geek. He conducts business through his website: http://2geek.net/index.php
Never used either, but I know of them :)and seen their results
The problem with the steelfish and other breitlings is that the crystal cannot be removed very easily. The bezel is next to impossible to remove and since the rider tabs block the crystal from coming out easily it can be quite a pain especially if you have no experience working with watches.
Member Nakortheblue has removed his Steelfish crystal successfully by bending up the rider tabs (at 3,6,9 & 12) and was able to press out the crystal that way. It's risky but this proves that it can be done.
Hope this helps!
Gracias, señor, usted es un caballero y un erudito!
Don't know if that's correct lol.. but yeah, I really appreciate it ^^

Hey folks, just got my Breitling Steelfish rep a couple of weeks ago and just instantly fell in love with it. I still stare at it from time to time and it brings a smile on my face..... that is until I see the crappy lume job done on 4 areas of the dial (see pic).
Anyways, long story short I want a re-lume on those areas, as well as an AR-coating, if possible. Are there any reputable modders? I don't really care about the AR coating since the current coating is absolutely stunning, but I really, really need a re-lume.
Thanks for helping a noob out!!

So... I placed an order for a Breitling Steelfish on the evening of 13th Dec., and the C/C payment went through by the 14th. The watch cleared customs on the 18th, I must say, even though I paid the extra $20 for fast shipping, it came EXTREMELY fast!! I am so glad I did my research, because these guys are good. Great communication, very well packaged (LOTS of bubble wrap, probably enough to send a sub notebook lol), and great quality. There are, however, very small details that seem to indicate that the watch is not genuine, but I'm willing to live with it until I get the dial relumed, after which it should be less visible. I will tell you about this flaw later.
Here are some crappy iphone pics, I will take better macro pics when I go home since I don't have my camera at work:
Thanks for looking, and stay tuned for detailed pics

What is everyone doing? the OP said DO NOT post! Ahhh... maybe he said that on purpose to instigate everyone from writing clever 1 liners, making it look like we're going "against" the flow, when in reality, we're going with it!! How clever!

This one also funny
ROFL!

For some reason, I don't see the reason to buy expensive jeans. With other apparel, you can tell if something is expensive or not, but whether you wear $100 Evisu jeans or $400 (<--insert expensive brand name here) jeans, most people don't seem to know. They never come up to you and say "Wow, those are awesome jeans, you must have paid a bunch for them!" On the other hand, shirts and jackets tend to get a lot of compliments, so I tend to spend a lot on them. After purchasing Armani ones that go for $600+, I've noticed that I've become a lot more successful with the ladies, and have been getting compliments at work

Nice watch. Whats up with the crown though?
Thank you for the kind advice, everyone. I've been posting this question on different forums, and even though it's a good deal, I've decided to get a new one from Watcheden. With their $20 coupon, I was able to get a Steelfish with Swiss ETA 2824, for $265. I will be getting a lume job within the next couple of months (before I go to the US, since it's so much cheaper here), and will be getting it modded (Gen bezel goes for around $400 on ebay, and maybe a waterproof job).
Thanks again everyone

Hehehe just like me, the first time I saw a Steelfish, I thought that's it!!

I have one with burgundy dial. Sent yesterday for an AR treatment to fineDD.
Will post some shots when I receive it.
Really needs AR.
And it is true it´s too small.......
Looks awesome

Hey folks,
First of all, let me start off by saying this is a nice community, and I've learned a lot over the 2 days or so I've been in the rep scene
I've been looking for a nice rep, and finally decided on a Breitlying SteelFish.
The problem is I'm having trouble deciding between a trusted dealer rep, with the following specs:
-Breitling Super Ocean Steelfish Swiss ETA 2824 Movement AR Coating with White Dial
and a 2.5 year old rep that has been lumed, and is in great shape. No scratches, maybe 1 hairline scratch that cannot be seen by the naked human eye.
The price is $285USD for the trusted dealer rep with WW shipping included, and $300USD for the 2.5 year old one (modded), with WW shipping. Since i live in Asia, the "free shipping included" is a big bonus for me. Which would you guys choose?
Sorry, forgot about the movements, the used one is "ETA" not sure what that means, while the dealer one is written above.
help me plz!!

Thanks for the kind comments everyone, I have already learned so much, from the different Asian and Swiss movements, to the different grade steel used, etc etc... Learning is fun!! Hopefully I will be able to contribute to the forum one day (soon).
Again, Cheers, and hope everyone has a great week.

Hey everyone,
I'm a noobie that just joined up after finding out about this site passively through a supraforum member =)
Just wanted to say 'hi', and let you guys know I'm a big watch enthusiast too, but never really had the funds to go out and buy the "big guns"... I stopped by a duty free store the other day and noticed a gorgeous, genuine Tag Heuer (sp?), and fell in love.
Since then I've been doing a lot of research.
Anyways, hi, and nice to meet you all!
