Awesome post and pics!
I enjoyed the read a lot. Thank you for your effort doing that.
Hope I will see that watch in person on the GTG...
Wear it in good health!
Uhm, my asian 111g has a working swanneck regulator. My swiss 111h I used to own had a fake one. My watchsmith is pretty sure he could fix my asian 111g if it ever breaks, but I think getting a new asian movement might be cheaper in some case.
Just my 2 cents.
Gotta agree with italiano - "LUNA ROSSA" font is off, dw is white instead of black, case should be pvd, "SWISS MADE" is too thick/bold...
A nice watch nevertheless, but if it is HBB ceramic price they should try harder, imho!
Thanks,
it is really something different to see it in a video - especially with that dial.
Now, the watch is pretty high on my list again...
Damn, how can I explain to my Girlfriend?
Thanks Guys!
It is an Olympus SP-560 UZ and after my 3mp pocket cam it is still a little overchallenging me... So many functions!
I feel like my grandpa finding the internet
Great toy!
I had an omega SMP chrono AR coated, while the genuine isn't.
The dial pops out way nicer now - and my bro in law who owns the gen is jealous...
If I had a gen, I would AR it, too. So why hesitate?
I think it is an Azimuth [EDIT: STEINHART. Took me too long to write this post]... Looks SO AWESOME, I think it is the best Big Pilot hommage out there!
Wearing my 111
I don't think the big Ingy will be repped, soon - it needs the same movement as the big pilot.
I for myself will stick with the current Ingy rep-line, my Ingy and Ingy chrono will be finished, soon!
I was offered a brand new 5002 dial, but what should I do with it?
Angus asured me it won't be repped for some time... So I would need to find a case AND a fitting movement. I will stick to projects which I can actually complete
Never let a small wrist stand in the way of your dream.
BTW, just had my 4th gen AR coated and it will get a genuine dial and hands next year. PERFECT size for a sportswatch.
