  1. Just bought the V1, since V2 is out of stock anyways. To me the V1 coronet on the clasp looks more like the genuine clasp around.
  2. Hello guys I've heard a lot about them, but can't find the link anymore. Someone got one for spare for sale or can provide me with a link? Is it better to buy with or without pearl? Cheers Akira
  3. You guys need to realize this is a tight knitting club. That's why it's called the "Nanuq" when you get banned on gen Rolex fora for posting pictures of a fake/franken. Obviously the clear indication that Sql posted fake items in sales threads on a gen fora doesn't wheigh here at all - since he's so tight with everyone. Even though all other Rep and Gen fora have followed their guidelines. Well, you know how this reflects on this very board. At least one can speak his mind around here.
  4. I remember that a staff member recently posted pics of a rep 6542 on a gen fora That thread was locked...
  5. Yep close it Too many posts/views for a RWG2 topic anyways
  6. Sorry freddy, but this makes it look like his history on this board prevents him from proper judgement. In no post Sql has denied using the same email address for different accounts on various fora. Some of them connected to selling fakes. He only said there is no proof. Which egematic provided. Same pics all over the boards, same name, same location and same person hence Facebook pictures? It should be pretty easy for an IT guy to check the exif data of his pics to find out if all were made by him. Log in IP? Being banned on rep and gen fora for ludicrous reasons? Gen AP straps with buckle? Whatever... Sql why did they ban you at RWG1.1? They only ban for spamming or scamming...or for being a complete tool
  7. I just love how many recent posts beginn with "after he/she/l was banned by Nembo" Everyone will taste his well-know "easy going handle" with the "Ban-button" at least once.
  8. Joey, if you don't see it, nothing l'll say will make you. If you want to pretend that you didn't understand what l said...please carry on with trivial nonsense arguments.
  9. Well Freddy, obviously you believe the Albino exists... I don't want to talk you out of it....it's just my and various others peoples opinion - based on facts, or better, non existing facts. Your opinion is based on stories, told by a fancy person l admit but still storys and speculation. Anyways, everyone's entitled to an opinion. However, don't think us saying it's fantasy equals us saying something bad about your project. Its a great build story - just not proven to be existing.
  10. If there is one person able to pull off a white dial GMT... Its Santa
  11. Ok Joey, let me re-phrase There is no official proof of the existance of a genuine albino GMT, only internet talk and pictures issued by questionable sources. There is no offical statement by Rolex confirming the existance and there is no official statement by PanAm confirming the Tale of the PanAm GMT Therefore l think its a fantasy watch. Better? Same content, more words!
  12. I'm sure he has it on his shelf, right next to The holy grail A tooth of Nessie A photo of Big Foot .... As long as there is no official confirmation by Rolex it remains to be mystery talk thats all.
  13. Azgjav nice project, but l remember you are the owner of the most beautifull 5513 MBW Franken builts there are - on all of the boards. I choose on of those anytime, no matter how budget the Josh case is. Compliments to your watchmaking skills
  14. There is no genuine white dial
  15. The photo is from VRF passion 2011 meeting if l'm not completely wrong. They are rare as it gets.
  16. I don't know...maybe it's your suppliers and your business practice that makes me wonder. If he has acces to "brand new gens" and is able himself or through a watchsmith to change the crystal, why would he: A. Take two perfectly good crystals of a gen in the first place B. Pack it into unlegit packaging C. Have a 2nd one in same condition... Were there two gens? D. Sell the gens to an obviously good price - otherwise you wouldn't have asked for a resell price E. Not be insulted when you come back and tell him his crystals aren't gen, because some folks on the internet told you so. Why would you take it back? It came off a "brand new gen" If you had doubts about it's authenticy you shouldn't have sold it as gen in the first place. To be honest I'm not good with the modern Rolexes and can't say if its gen or not. However the whole "came of a brand new gen" sounds too text book to me. Sorry to speak so frankly, but l've seen a lot of people falling for good afternarket parts with those stories. I'm sure you had best intentions in mind. If it is in fact genuine, your supplier really needs to get his wax paper in order Cheers Akira Sent from my Iphone
  17. You said they came off a "brand new" gen, so it must be gen. Why would your supplier give you your money back, just because some dudes on the internet tell you it's aftermarket? They haven't had it in hand, so this makes no sense at all. Either your supplier is bullshitting you, or you are bullshitting us. That story sounds fishy to me...
  18. I'm not going to argue further. As a German, l tell you it's not what Germans or Europeans would call "a typically German" name. As a first name it's never used and as a middle name only in strictly catholic families. That said, thank you guys for naming examples that actually have proven my point very well. Alias names - not typical German
  19. That's Austrian like in Austria, not to be confused with Australian like in Australia.
  20. Klaus Maria Brandhauer is his alias. His birth name is Klaus Georg Steng and he's Austrian not German....but I know, Europe is all the same to you US boys Maria is seldomly used as a middle name in Germany, it's roman catholic origin and not a typically "German". You'll find more Italian and Romanian people with that name, even though they are the smaller population.
  21. In which world is Maria a German name? Maria, as a male name, is only used in Romance based languages. Not Anglo-Saxon based, like German names normally are. Ignorant Americans But +1 as Gert Fröbe as the average German
