  1. Looks nice, I'm surprised the Joshua crystal fit the new case, but thats cool :thumbsupsmileyanim: when it works in your favor its always nice!

The HE valve looks good. as for the stem. the crown actually unscews from the stem so i would think you could unscrew the crown a little from the stem, making it longer then use a dab of glue to hold it from loosing up more!

Just my thoughts, but by far I am not watchsmith!

Hope I've helped, but the watch looks great.

also 1 question. Does your bracelet have screws or pins?

    Jon :victory:

Unfortunately, thanks for the suggestion, but there just isn't enough stem to do that. Thanks anyway!

    My bracelet has pins.

    Later!!

  2. Hi,

This Seamaster was originally bought from Joshua. Swiss movement. I was able to get a few things off of Ebay and I enhanced my watch.

Here's the watch with the bezel aligned...first mod done (a while ago)...and so you can compare the old case to the new case.

I won an OEM clasp and a new case for the Seamaster on Ebay, so I swapped the bezel insert off of the Joshua watch (it was better) and placed the movement into the new case. I also kept the crystal that came with the Joshua one, since it was sapphire and the one that came with the new case was not. The new case has the HE valve in the correct location so the watch looks pretty good if I don't say so myself. :thumbsupsmileyanim: I had to take my Dremel tool to the case since the movement didn't fit originally but it does now!! Okay, enough rambling on here...here are the pictures...

Only one minor problem the stem is a little too small (causes a couple of issues), so if anyone can help me out and I can get a longer stem I would greatly appreciate it!!! Please, please, please PM me if you can!!!!!

I have never done anything to this magnitude on a watch.

    Thanks and enjoy!

These pictures are also in my photobucket, if you care to look.
