  1. I agree, to REALLY test it - I would say outta the box into the tester. $.02
  2. Which is? If I'd do one, I'd much prefer ETA. $.02
  3. I've always been a Sony Point-N-Click kinda guy. I want to learn how to really take pics, but wasn't ready for a step up to a DSLR. I went with the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ7 and couldn't be happier. The pictures it takes versus my 2 year old Sony are night and day. It offers an easy mode, but also plenty of manual modes to learn what the Hell to do. The only issue is low light noise (as everyone states). http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/panasonicfz7/
  4. Congrats on a beautiful watch, it is high on my list and was the next in line. I've heard the lume is pretty strong on it, how is yours?
  5. I wear a rep once or twice a week (usually) and my gen most of the other days. I've only got a few reps, so they get used.....
  6. LMAO!! And I thought I had a nice collection going. Here is my extremely MEAGER collection, been at it for 2-3 months..... I've since done a self distressed strap (had two of the same): Side by side, before and after (EXACT same strap): And also added this:
  7. BINGO! I found that an eyeglass kit for $.99 from a drug store worked perfectly. I used my Dremmel to grind it down just a hair and it was perfect! Came with about 6 different screws of which a few will work. -WD
  8. Beautiful watch and OH the LUME! 1) How is the weight? 2) Is the lume really that strong? Strong enough to not require any work? Cheers, WD
  9. I can't see the dealers doing any more to it. It is already a fantastic rep and it really isn't worth their time. Hell, if they haven't perfected the Sub or 111h, they aren't gonna perfect this..... $.02
  10. It has light AR and it came from Joshua. Best, WD
  11. I'm not finished, but I've been working on mine.....
  12. Still working on my photos. No lightbox, so it presents a challenge. Slowly, oh so slowly - I'm making baby steps.....
  13. Mine is perfect (or damn near). I found 1 tiny flaw which is not noticable to the naked eye. I'm leaving her along.....
  14. Niiiiiice! That is going on the list soon!
  15. Don't know what you want done, but try Vaccum.
  16. I would say yes. If you look really close, you can see a slight shiny texture. To me that is a lot less obvious than a total lack of lume.
  17. Just got her back a week or so ago (my Joshua 183h). Vaccum was kind enough to accept this watch to work on. He is a very busy man, but took the time to do this in his spare time. I had him do a re-lume and cannon pin fix. Here are a few 'quick and dirties': Un-touched photos of the lume. In da light. The cannon pin is oh so close, wish it could be a titch higher - but it IS a rep and I have to accept some imperfections. I'm betting I'm the only one that will EVER notice! Huge improvement over the old cannon pin! We have actually had some correspondence and he is likely going to re-do this and get er flush! Thank you Vaccum, you went above and beyond and you are an absolute asset to the rep community! I will certainly send more work your way and I highly recommend you to any and all looking for some State-side work. Best, WD
  18. To the best of my knowledge, his font isn't all that off. It just happens to be the font from the earlier 005s, not the present day ones.
