You should pull it out to the second position , sounds like you are in the 'date set mode' ...
Thanks. Now I feel really stupid. Never occurred to me that the movement had a date feature.

Just received my 288k from a trusted dealer. Watch looks great but I'm having difficulty setting the time. The chronograph was running when I opened it so I stopped it and reset it. Unscrewed the crown and wound it a little - watch is running. Then I popped the crown out further to set the time. Clockwise I feel and hear a clicking, anti-clockwise it turns freely. Neither way adjusts the hands though. Am I doing something wrong. Which direction should set the time on an asian 7750?

Yep, all we know is the date/time it left Naples - tracking isn't giving us anything else.
I wonder what would happen if you insured a rep for gen money and identified it as a gift - I bet it would sale thru customs.
Bill
That would be great except that you'd have to pay taxes on the value of a gen watch.

Folks...........I got my watch and couldn't be happier. It looks just as it did in the QC pics, worked right out of the box and I get compliments on it wherever I go. I couldn't wait for my watch tool kit to get here so I took a chance and took the watch to a local certified Tag dealer to get the bracelet re-sized. The jeweler commented on how nice a watch it was and that they had not been able to get any of the blue dials in stock for some time. He was supposed to charge me $15 for the service but said if I promised to give him a shot at selling me my next Tag he do it for free. I haven't had it off my arm since. Now I need to find somewhere to purchase a half link because it is just a little snug and I have to find a knowledgeable watchsmith to have the movement serviced. Thanks for all of your help in this. I am hereby now a faithful member.
Tony
You're extremely lucky it wasn't confiscated by the AD. Please never do that again.

Is there anything new to update? I've noticed that some dealers are selling a version with no happy feet now. Can anyone confirm that these watches are at least as good quality as the Ultimate?
My UPO has stopped working - what next?

So, recently my UPO (2 years old) just stopped. No moisture that I can see and I have no reason to think it got wet. Feels like it should be winding when I turn the crown.
I have no experience with opening or repairing a watch. Watch repair places for reps seem very hard to find in Canada. What would you do?
- Sell it as is, of course disclosing the issue
- Save it for parts and buy another
- Open it up and try to look for an obvious issue
- Other
Thanks
