Carefully push the crown in the hole and turn it a bit until you can push it easily further to the point that it's against the bar connected to the button for removing the stem. You're welcome. I learnt throughout the years by a lot of mistakes but now can completely disassemble and reassemble 7750, 2836 and 2824 and lower stuff. Removing and replacing stem and crown can be very frustrating if you don't realize that a lot of stems have just a little bit different dimensions. Never push hard but carefully and softly try to get them in and find the right opening. If you push too hard also the whole composition of parts is out of order and you have a much bigger problem.
