  1. Bracelet on par with my handwind commemorative rep (pins and barrels too), slightly domed, and the rehaut is black.

The big chrono second hand is just a RCH off to the left when reset to the 12 o'clock position. 3 o'clock subdial follows the hour hand, 6 o'clock is the second hand for the movement, and 9'oclock is the chrono minute hand.

So, it is definitely a $60 piece, but I will most likely use the solid caseback on my handwind once I get it repaired (yes, I checked and it fits perfectly).

Oh, and it took 18 days to get it. It sat in China at the postal depot for 10 days before if finally started it's journey (not PA's fault).

  2. UPO or 42mm PO, definitely. It's not about how accurate it is or how great its design is. They are, but f*ck all that. This watch's are so comfortable to wear, you'll forget it's there. I wear my 42 PO for weeks in a row, without noticing it, and I mean I don't take it off at all - sleep, showers, work, playing with kids, all that. The bracelet is as smooth as silk (at least on mine) and the overall durability is amazing, given the fact that it's a rep, made with low quality metals.

This sums it up quite well.

My 42mm PO wears as comfortably as my gen SMP, and it is so accurate that it is a pleasure to wear.

  3. And the ban hammer falls on WUS as well, search for member tolis-

    Watchuseek

Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms.

And he has met the same fate on RWI again too.

Any bets on how soon he will be back? I am betting he has re-registered/attempted to already.....

  4. +1 :D

Anyway something happened the other link above showing you proudly displaying your rep PO for the w...u...s community...I don't actually know what happened to the link on w..u..s but it disappeared.

Never mind here is a cached copy :D :

If you come back on the forums again I think idontknow is going to track you down and lobotomise you....and I'll hold you down for him to do so! That should calm you down for a while!

I was wondering what happened to that link.

All I can say is HOLY [censored]!

Not only did you post up a rep on a gen forum, but no one even realized it was a rep......

Tolis, you are a FVCKING MORON.

Lobotomy is not an option. At this point you need to have everything removed from the shoulders on up.

Please, someone ban this SOB ASAP. I will keep my eyes peeled for the next time he comes back (and he will).

I own you, and I will be watching....

  5. You will get no apology from me. You made the mistake of pulling my chain and pissing me off. I will continue to keep a watchful eye out for you and slam the door on your puny little fingers every time I find your hand in the door again.

So why don't you explain why you have fraudulently registered again after being banned, falsifying your country of origin, and now attempting to sell something without a) having received the watch first, and doing so without paying for a membership.

Go get help while you can.

Here is a copy and paste of my reply to you over at RWI-

I think a stroll down memory lane is appropriate (and the last time you were banned)-

But he seems to keep coming back to the Omega PO reps, over and over and over and over (you get the picture I am sure).

He is definitely a unique individual that is five cans and the plastic rings short of a six pack.

Just by chance he comes back again (and he will) and reads this.......

Tolis, I will ALWAYS be watching for you.

I know that first he said he sent it, then he said he sent it again, then he said that it was an issue with the post office in Greece (and it was sent again). At this point I couldn't give a **** what he says.

All I have seen lately is that he is trying to do a back door sale on both here and RWG without actually posting in the sales section, and he hasn't posted any pics of anything other than his QC pics. Not to mention that now that he has owned three of these that he has decided they are "too small" for his wrist. If only he would just say he's hard up for cash and needed to get rid of it (or he wants to finance another Invicta).

I don't think we should give him any more attention and I will just keep my eyes peeled for the next time he shows up.

Notice that as of today 5/17 he is attempting a back door sale again over on rwg.cc

Anyone know a mod over there that may want to clue them in on his multiple accounts?

Sent from this thing in my hand with Tapatalk...

And he posted again in a thread that he had earlier posted in as "galimanas"-

    http://www.rwg.cc/topic/143674-upoupo-chrono-braceletstrap-size/

You will get no apology from me, but maybe you should apologize to everyone here and over at rwg.cc for all the [censored] that you are trying to pull AGAIN.

I really am beginning to believe that you have serious mental issues. You need to see someone for some help.

    I told you over there-

    <snip>

bow out now before I am forced to really put the smack down on you.....
  6. And over on RWI in your QC pic thread you admit that you are from Greece.....

you have problem my friend?my country has 5000years life now .....your country?what is your past ?

    EUROPE is made by GREECE!

    so let it!!!!!!

    Time to say good night.....

  7. thanks !just i am thinking to sell this because i want to go for 45mm....

Over on RWI (as davosa) you say that you won't go with a 45mm because it is too big and heavy. But then again over there you claim to be from England (not Germany like you listed in your profile here).

So which one is it? Or is it door #3..... Greece

    Fess up tolis/tolis7/galimanas/seamaster3/omegaplanetocean

    I found you again.

And once again you are attempting a backdoor sale before you have even received the watch.

  8. all replicas has issues my friend...only the original dont have...but this is game....if we dont need issues we must spend 3000euro for original PO..BUT HEY MUTCH MONEY!

Galimanas, what issues does the PO rep you are selling have?

I know that my gen Bond SMP once it hit 5yrs needed a new He valve/tube, new click spring/barrel, and a new mainspring.....

Sent from this thing in my hand with Tapatalk...

  9. So, I had a deal that I completed on this site with what appeared to be an established and credible member of this board.....

I purchased a used watch from the board and paid for the item the morning of the 1st (while driving to work that morning at 0514 PDT).

After I sent a PM saying I wanted to purchase the seller responded with-

Sounds good. My paypal is XXX@yahoo.com I will include shipping for the 110 net to me. After you send payment message me your address and I will get it in the mail today. I will also mark the ad as sold.

At 0535 the seller PM'd me with this after I provided my shipping info-

I will get it in the mail for you.

    Enjoy

    On the 2nd I sent a message-

please let me know when it has gone out and shoot me any tracking info you may have. THX!

On the 4th I received this response-

Watch was sent out priority. They don't offer tracking with priorty but you should have it monday or tuesday.

    Enjoy

As of yesterday it still had not arrived so I sent a PM asking for status/update (that has gone unanswered)-

Just wondering what day this went out because it isn't here yet. TD WBK on RWI sent me a pkg from NJ on Saturday by Priority and I received it yesterday.

Today a package arrived in my box. It was a flimsy 5x7 bubble wrap mailer that contained a spare crown (in a small plastic bag that had been worn through by the edges of the crown), and a spare bezel insert (in a paper envelope) in the same plastic bag as the watch but not padded between. The kicker was the postmark that showed a ship date of the 6th, with a USPS track number that is not recognized in the USPS online system.......

And this is someone on this site that has been around for a few years.

I am really finding it sad that I can't seem to find much credibility with some of the people in this hobby. I seem to have run into some of the dregs right out of the chute (between both here and another site). What's really wild is that I have been buying/selling on firearms boards for the last ELEVEN years, and on a bicycling hobby board for the last SEVEN years and never had anything like this happen.

I am fairly certain that only TD's/established modders will be receiving my hard earned $ from here forward.

Not wanting to sound like a whiner, but WTF?

    C'est la vie....

  10. Welcome to watch heaven! Buckle up and enjoy the ride! :thumbsupsmileyanim:

Isn't that the truth! I just replaced a Gen Seamaster 212.30.41.61.01.001 that I sold last summer with a Gen 2220.80.00 that arrived today...

Now I am looking to see what varieties of Reps I can add (along with the BK mentioned above) to fill up the stable.

  11. Already have a sub replacement in the works. After many, many hours of reading I ordered from bk.

My price range for such things will be inline with what I will be paying for the bk. Modern is kind of my preference, but if something shows up FS on the board of a vintage nature, then who knows.

Oh, and thanks for the heads up on pics. Next time I post a pic (may be a while) I will do my best to remember.

  12. So I lurked for a couple of days before joining, then upgrading.

New to the site (no kidding huh?), and it looks like I am going to fall into another "money pit" of a hobby (what's another to go with the other 2 I already have). As I put in my profile-

Been interested in reps since a deployment to South Korea in '03 (where I picked up Rolex reps for both my spouse and I). Other interests pulled me a way from the interest for a while, but now that my rep has died after 8yrs of faithful service I am looking for a. a replacement, and b. more/others to add to a collection.

I am looking to replace my original Sub rep, then most likely tear it down to find out what made it run, and use it as a learning tool.

Dead as a door nail, and somewhere along the way the pearl went MIA-
