I missed the 1655 aftermarket bezel listing from watchguyusa2 on the bay. Looks like he's no longer selling it. What other options do I have for an upgrade bezel that fits the Josh case? Thanks!

 

He also had a 35-40K solid gold yatch master 2 for sale for something like 5-6k I really wonder whats going thru ppls minds when they post these things? do they really think that someone wont call them out on it?

I think the seller is just posting gen pics from somewhere hoping to pull a fast one on some idiot out there. All he needs is just one hit and makes $6k out of nothing.

 

I think it was more a scammer than anything. A BIN that low was what set my radar on.

That's a sigh of relief because if a fake looks this good the whole world will get scammed.

Are you talking about the aftermarket 1655 bezel from watchguyusa2 on the bay? The Josh case will take gen crystal so the inner diameter should fit but I'm not sure about the outer diameter though.

Which bezel with proper flat 4 font is compatible with the Josh 1655 case? Mine is the A21j lowbeat with the T Swiss < 25 T dial version. Thanks!

I have a vintage rep with lowbeat A21j. The DW is acting up. It will date change at around 12am but misaligns with the DW window from time to time. Is this normal given it's a cheap movement? Does it take a lot of power out of the reserve to do the date change because the DW misalignment issue seems to happen more often whenever I don't wear the watch for a full day. Thanks!

The A21j on mine is not very good. It's running too fast (~1 min gain/day) and the DW won't do full changeover from time to time. Is there any better movement that will fit if I want to keep the existing hands? Thanks!

No offence dude, that watch looks way to big on her. I know its fashion now to wear big ones, but seriously, how big will this craze go to.

I think it's OK for a woman to wear a big watch like a bracelet.

Out of the box the 3717 v3, and MK XVI are very good.

With two mods they are excellent. You should get the ETA datewheel(s), and aftermarket AR coating for the crystal first if you are going to mod.

I thought the latest version of 3717 comes with double AR already. Does the stock AR leave more to be desired?

I'm thinking about picking it up. Does it look like a high quality watch in person to the untrained eyes even though it has a lot of flaws or the fit and finish is a step down from other higher end reps from the cartel? Thanks!

The case is 50mm lug to lug.

My wrist is 6.75" if it helps.

Yours look fine but the lugs are going to stick out on my 6" wrist at 50mm lug to lug.

Is there any IWC rep that is a bit smaller?

if you really want a franken with more than a gen dial and hands I would suggest saving up for a second hand gen. They trade at a steep discount to new and not far from the cost of a franken. and this is coming from a guy who built one.

How much is the used gen?

Do any of our dealers still carry this one?
