  1. Ahahaha! A month's salary?? The dude is obviously unemployed, so he is basically saying he got the watch for free. Probably some little kid threw away his toy watch, and this guy was rooting through the garbage one day and found it. . .
  2. I was a realtor. It sucked because most of the business went to all the hot women realtors in the office. I kid you not, even the new lady realtors (if they were hot), were asking why people thought real estate was so hard. They just started, and were getting clients left and right, just by putting their pictures by their ads.
  3. Very cool, but then again, it's a gen so no surprises there. Maybe Ceejay can post some pics for comparison?
  4. Awesome job and watch Radish! That is definitely not something you are going to see in the wild, probably ever. That blue lume is almost ethereal.
  5. Very nice JK. Really glad Toro sorted that for you. The snafu cost him some watches, but his rep just got a big boost on here as well!
  6. I could go for one on the right, if the numerals/indices, and maybe only the hour hand were white. Otherwise, too much red for me.
  7. Very very nice piece! Toro and KW have some great quality stuff.
  8. Hey Mike, how would you compare the scratch resistance of teg to Seiko diashield, or Citizen duratect treatments? Those two are super scratch resistant from all I can tell. Also, I really like watches with DLC treatments, but they seem to be all black. I would love to find a great sub like diver with DLC on bracelet and case, maybe sapphire/ceramic insert, and of course sapphire crystal, without breaking the bank, haha!
  9. Mike, those Helsons and Zentons are just amazing, but anything over 50mm case length is sadly too much wrist presence for me. And it's sad too, because the pricing on some of those Zenton divers was not unreasonable for the specs.
  10. It's a nice looking watch Mike, for sure. (The ML diver) You don't see any of those in the wild, but it looks like it would have great wrist presence, it's beautiful, and you can wear that with a wet suit or a Canali just as easily. The BB and Breit are very nice too. They get the edge with wrist status here. Those Sinns are awesome too!
  11. Doesn't do anything for me, but to each their own. Some guys are into multi-colored suits, hats, etc., and if it makes them happy, at the end of the day, that's all that matters.
  12. Sensational piece man! Just in time for Summer too! Enjoy!
  13. A lot of guys on this forum are in the US, no problems with them. I think it's the people in the UK who have more problems.
  14. +1 And nothing wrong with buying a kit car either. It WOULD be wrong to sell the kit car as the real thing obviously, but a lot easier to discover that immediately, unless you were dumb enough to buy that on eBay or CL, haha!
  15. Awesome piece man! Honestly, all three of them. Wear it in good health!
  16. +1 on that Superocean 44mm Abyss. Just a gorgeous gorgeous watch. Has to be one of the hottest gens going at the moment.
  17. Really sorry to hear about that. Pertaining to that loser (rslesq1) who ripped off the seller, all I can say is what goes around comes around, sooner or later. I have no doubt. Regarding PP, that's why WU or bank transfer is the way to go, especially if you are not sure about a person. I have friends who sell on eBay, who won't sell to people who don't have a good star rating.
  18. Marlin is the Man! It's a good thing we have guys like him on this board, to verify subtle variations on really good reps. As far as eBay goes, people there are more concerned about a seller's rating than on the authenticity of the merchandise. If the seller has a rating close to 100, they just assume he must be legit, because all those other buyers would have said something. Big mistake. Also, this is a real niche hobby, so tons of folks out there do not realize the sophistication of the modern rep.
  19. Some very impressive collections gentlemen!
  20. It's my understanding that the noob v3 is out of stock from most TD's at this time. Is that correct?
  21. All due respect, but I have to disagree. It's not illegal to purchase reps, at least not in the USA.
  22. That strap goes perfect with your PAM. Wear it well my friend!
  23. I would go with the Avenger if it was me, but you can't go wrong either way! But Panermaniac has a point, the BB is a tad small. If it was at least 42-44 mm, then BB gets the nod here.
