This is such an odd question, regardless I'll try to provide an answer that has been given before. Reps are not made in the same clean room standards that you will likely find at Rolex/Tudor or any of the Swiss watch houses for that matter. That said it is possible for some something like a spec of dust to be under the crystal, however it is the easiest of all fixes and takes simple tools and a steady hand to remedy. If something like the possibility of dust under the crystal on a rep bothers you then I'd suggest getting a gen Tudor, there are limely bigger issues with the rep than a spec of dust that will bug you.

I think you've already made up your mind on the vintage piece when you said "It's not what I'm looking for..." As someone that's been where you are, getting something that's not quite what I want as a way of scratching that itch always ends up costing me money in the long run. On the otherhand you always end up selling every modern rolex that you've bought since being on this forum, this BLNR is likely to be the same. You like vintage pieces plain and simple, I'd vote on holding off on either watch.

Similar to the Date Just the Aqua Tera can be a understated dress watch worn on bracelet or a nice leather strap.

In general I am not a fan of anything but the bracelet on the planet ocean but I must say that those straps with that buckle are a nice combo. Now if they just sold those steel endlinks for the Omega like they do for the Rolex... Good.rite up.and great photos, thanks for sharing.

Go with what you like, what fits the watch and remember pictures or it didn't happen Most of my leather straps are casual, have a nice croc for my Pam 177 and it is 4-5mm thick, my padded strap for my ML Pontos S is about 5-6mm thick and the black smooth grain leather I have for my rolex is 4mm thick. Also consider your wrist size, smaller wrist might be able to get away with a thinner strap than a larger wrist.

It will happen especially in the beginning and especially if you're riding off road but on the road there are generally less unexpected hazards compared to the trail so the ability to plan for disengaging the cleat from the pedal is much more calm. :bangin:

My avitar is my current ride, I bought the bike just for the frame and promptly stripped the parts off and rebuilt with parts that I hand selected. I have rebuilt her once again since first buying her and she looks slick... I prefer club rides, 40-50 miles, group I ride with meets weekly and we are more of the "weekend warrior" variety
