Has anyone ever heard of Nixon watches? You guys ever see this one? I think it's the GA-101 or GA-100 or something.. You hear a lot of people say that the movements in these reps aren't good for a lot of high impact activities so I figure I will pick one up for all my hardcore type of activities...

On the note that came with it Taka said that they increased the AR on this batch and it should probably be better than the older ones. Here is a pic of me holding it..

I just got my Taka AR crystal in the mail, and it's incredible. It's like holding invisibility..

I have two more watches in transit, and need to get a next order in or it's going to be boring in 2 weeks.. So I figure i'd ask some opinions.. I was thinking Sinn Ultimate U or Hublot All Black 2.. I don't have a Sinn yet, but the Hublots are super nice.. Just need to make sure that the All black is worth it..

We're not trying to give him a hard time, but all his answers are on the forum. I can understand when you need expertise or something, but you start with having a $8000 gen that got stolen, and now you are looking for opinions on a super rep. There are so many good ones that people consider super reps, and really it's up to your own preference, taste and budget. I guess people find it easier to sign up, ask one question, and then never come back after they get what they want.

You should just take the insurance money and buy another gen.

Yea. That's why it's worth it to buy a good watch because $200+ to service a a7750 really adds to the cost of a watch..

Either get it custom made by someone or ask a dealer if they could get you one.

But you see how it looks like the frame rate is sped up or slowed down in some spot, and how it seems to be missing frames all together. That's what I'm talking about..

Ok, that's good. I am waiting for my appointments from him and just wanted to make sure it was something that could be done. It's such a nice watch it is worth having it modded a bit.. I still gotta find a way of wearing all these watches, you end up getting some faves that you just want a reason to wear all the time.

I'm looking to get my Milgauss relumed, and it is one of the newer ones with the orange lume that glows blue. Would this be something standard that any of the top tier modders can do or is that lume far from standard? I need to get the watch serviced and would love to get it relumed at the same time.

Man, I think what you need to do is ask the dealer if he can give you some sort of credit against your next watch. If you declare it at $40 you will only be insured for $40. If you declare $500 you will probably have to pay extra for that much insurance, and then when it gets to china they will open it up and probably take it. At that point how are you going to explain that you sent a replica in the mail and you want to put a claim against it. The last two watches I recently got had problems, one had a problem with the hands, and the other one had dings on it. I had to request new hands and will pay to have them put on, and for the other watch I will try to get a credit. It's better for the dealer to sell me another watch and make less profit then it is for him to be out of pocket. It's also safer for me, and I won't have to watch a month or two for a new watch, or pray that it arrives.
