Penos.Unless you're talking vintage, the 36mm is sold by just about everyone....Trevor, Silix, Marvellous Replica, Puretime, Perfect Clones,Precious, Trusty aaaand so on.

It's on of the best out of the box reps, but make sure you go for the Asian2836 or 2824 movement and don't waste your money on the "Swiss" movement.

My first rep was a Rolex Explorer. It cost me £35 ($55...I know!) and I still love it. For the money, NOTHING comes close. I usedto get a cheapo "fashion"watch for Xmas, something quartz that dies the day after the guarantee runs out ,but not any more.

For me it's down to this....With a rep you get a helluva lot of watch for your money.

And if people do call you out (twice, once with my GEN Cartier Tank and once with the rep Explorer) do what I did...look them in the eye and say,with a slight hint of disdain "Oh, PLEASE!"

Both people looked suitably chastised....but the one I bluffed really made me smile!

So on the new 39mm Explorer, are they using solid links?

Finally! Thank-you JKay for cutting through all the BS. I've been looking at a Rolex Explorer 36mm at 6 different TD's, all at different prices, but have come to the conclusion that they are indeed "the same [censored] watch" As has correctly been pointed out, the only difference is the movement, so if you find the same watch cheaper and it's with a TD, just buy the damn thing!

Perhaps it would be helpful if this could be made a little bit more obvious to newcomers, instead of confusing and sometimes patronising them. After all, isn't one opf the functions of a forum to help, instead of confusing the hell out of everyone!

I think that sounds good. We need new dealers to be tested and I would be pleased to hear about your experiences.

The forum needs new dealers all the time. If someone is ready to risk it we will all potentially benefit. Only the guy who ventures out into the wild runs a risk as the forum cannot help if the transaction goes wrong.

Having said that, the selection on this particular site is at cheap because the watches are very obvious fakes. There are a few OK ones, but I would do a lot of homework before buying any of these.

It was actually because of replicawatcheschina.com that I joined RWG. I have tried to place an order with them 5 times but each time the payment failed. Now this could be because I live in the sticks and "broadband" ain't what it should be, or they just want me to pay via paypal, western etc. Nobody seems to have any dealings with them (apart from the guy at replicawatchreport.com, who according to the forums can't be 100% trusted himself), and simply say "stick with the trusted dealers" which obviously makes sense, but this lot have two watches I want that nobody else has. So at the risk of being scammed and being slaughtered by the members (please be gentle!) I might give it a go......Oo'er!
