Just wanted to start a tread about whats your dream car Some of you might drive it already, but others, like me, just dream about them So post them up! Heres on of my dream cars: Audi R8 V10:
I'll see your R8 V10 and raise you a SUPERCHARGED R8 V10.
But I'll keep the blue color you picked. That would be my ideal daily driver dream car. Insanely fast but reliable with forgiving road manners.
On the category of dream car I'd keep for a weekender:
SWB Ferrari 250GT California Spyder.

I think I have that exact Breitling rep, a friend got it for me in Dubai.
Keeps horrible time, but it's fun to wear out occasionally.

I've tried for years to find a rep of a SS Rolex oyster or Date, just something simple with an oyster bracelet, silver face, smooth bezel. Haven't had any success yet. But then I'm looking in questionable places (Mexico). All they have there are gaudy crappy reps with lots of faux gold and faux diamonds.
Would love a point in the right direction for better selections...

Oh, and fwiw - the "I'm New Here - Now What?" thread has a dead link in it.
Hope that's a useful contribution.... since I doubt the old hats here ever look in that locked thread!

Hello all!
Was referred to this forum by members at the RPF (Replica Prop Forum), and thought I'd get involved over here.
Have been a watch fiend since I was a young child, interested in my father's and grandfather's watches. I have a small collection of genuine brand watches, and a few replicas. Living close to Tijuana has afforded me the opportunity to check out some cheap ones. Not nice like what I see described here. Am looking forward to learning more about the world of reps here!
what you drive?

Here are my two main daily drivers:
1993 VR6 Corrado SLC and 2004 R32
The R32 just has a intake and chip, brake rotor upgrade, & lightweight wheels... otherwise stock perfection.
The SLC just has a few carbon fiber goodies on her, otherwise stock so far.
Incidentally the SLC is the replacement for my G60 Corrado that i just wrecked a few months ago (took it down a cliff in Malibu)
Here are a few shots of before & after:
I also have a 1973 Fiat Spyder 1600S that I've been restoring, my dad bought it new when I was a child...
