It is out of stock. I got it from here. Expensive, YES! But... - I didn't get that price. I haggled and got a good deal - he let me pay by paypal, so it's an assurance for me in case something happens - EMS shipping from HK, it was fast going to NL (6 days). I was surprised it didn't go to customs but then again... - he didn't give me QC pics. I was told by others he only gives qc pics when requested - the tracking number he gave didn't match my mail, so I was tracking it for 5 days It was a gamble to a non-trusted dealer, but it paid off

That's the 2Geek version that's good, but not the correct height

I haven't even received my HBB and it's already bugging me. Any alternative to txcollectors' HBB crystals (original thread here) with the correct height? I see there's also 2Geek but from my research it's not with the correct height. I'm currently not in my country of origin so even if I want to do this as a special project, I don't even know where to start. I barely even talk the local language EDIT: Found another guy, Mickey2008, but he seemed to have stopped producing crystals also.

As requested, here are the qc pics for the new Hublot Big Bang Evolution. I ordered the SS version. can't really see the height of the crystal if it's acceptably high enough.

I'm not sure for the new HBBs, that is the best picture I can show for now. I wasn't really aware of that flaw. It's been shipped today, so the countdown begins and I'll make sure to take proper pictures when it arrives @geo1nah2a I'll post to another topic, I'm thread-jacking already

OT: hmmm... now that you mentioned it, received the qc pics of the new HBB yesterday: The crystals can't be modded to raise the height? That's the first tell on the new version, I guess.

Good thing you didn't delete the EXIF data, otherwise we'll all be guessing what went wrong I'm just going to check the first one: You shot at aperture f/16 with shutter speed at 0.8 sec, focal length 105mm with ISO 3200 in aperture mode. First off: lower the ISO first. The lower the ISO the higher the quality. For macro shots, no higher than 200. Ceiling is 400, but that's pushing it. Set the aperture lower, around 4.0-8.0. Since I don't know the lens you have, this is mostly the sweet spot of lenses where it is the sharpest. NOTE: I said lower aperture, because you might be confused. The correct term is higher, because lower numbers mean higher openings. Higher opening of aperture = more light can pass through the lens. Since you're using a tripod, shutter is not important-- unless you're trying to capture the lume, you set your camera to shutter mode and set it around 2 secs. Goodluck and try again!
