  1. Sorry for causing trouble guys...

If you guys think it was offensive, I apologize all this...

I didn't mean to insult Angus or any of his customers.

I know Angus is good guy. I've read many threads where Angus tried to help RWG people, more than the other dealers.

I believe that Angus is one of valuable dealer in RWG.

I don't hate PT BECAUSE THERE IS NO REASON FOR ME TO HATE THEM as I mentioned that I never bought from PT.

In fact, this is a useless review because its not a review. Only my opinion.

Think about it, why would I post this??

I've read many reviews of PT from PT review section and I just wanna share my thoughts of those.

I hear many of you guys have no problem dealing wit PT BUT some ppl do have issues.

90 out of 100 ppl say its reliable... but what about for those 10 ppl???

I know dealers handles hundreds of orders everytime.. but

Try read all of PT's reviews and read Josh's and Andrew's then you will understand why I post this.

(relatively high numbers of people with issues of "customer service")

If Angus can solve all the problems quick and nice, why doesn't he do at the first time??

(Its seems most of problems was related to Nikki... and why does let her do same all the time?)

The reason I post this on General Discussion was

To let Angus and ppl to know what problems are rising and therefore he can do better.

I believe that is why we have this forum.

I was ready to take all the negative comments and its fine that some of you guys think I'm troll.

And again, sorry for Angus and other people who thought this was offensive.

I realized that I used some of offensive and unnecessary words in my thread.. I apologize that.

Sometimes, I go way beyond.. Please understand my ignorance.

Again, I don't want to make trouble, I just hope all of us can do better in future.

  2. Glad you read the review..as indicated, i got my Explorer II from Stan (or WBK)..He is a Trusted dealer on this forum (http://www.rwg.cc/forum/229-wbk-time/) and also the other sister rep forums, if i am correct..

I also purchased the dial from Angus (PureTime) and left the hands as is. Reluming the hands or getting a completely new set will most probably be in the list of mods for this watch..

But for a tenth of the price to the gen, I can live with these small inaccuracies.. :)

I see, so the dial is from angus and all other parts are from WBK.

Thanks for kind explanation helped me a lot :)

    Thumbs up for your reviews!!

  3. Old exp1 vs. New exp1..

For me, old exp1 looks better since rolex didn't increase the size of hands on new exp1.

So I picked up the old one. However,

    Old exp2 vs. New exp2

here are example QC pics from Andrew

    Old

    New

    http://imgur.com/a/o6Foj#oWRUg

    I just can't choose!

The things I like from old version are superlume and smaller case.

New one is just .. look better (especially orange GMT hand)

    What would you guys do???

(I'm talking about reps... not gen of course)

  4. The lume glows like superluminova. Very bright at first but holds a faint charge after most of the night has past. It glows almost as good as my gen GMTIIc.

Kello (timegraph for iPhone) says my Exp 2 is running at 28.8.

    Thanks Nix, great help :)

Looking really nice on ur wrist!

  5. The Noob version was a "million monkeys" thing. Almost WM9 quality.

It was a fantastic rep, and the crystal/rehaut combo was 99% like gen. Too bad they stopped producing it.

    3.jpg

    Noob yacht master, noob exp2....

They both were really nice reps

How come all the good reps are discontinued while many of bad ones are still out there....

  6. It's pretty nice.. I picked up one of these. The lume is a little lumpy. My first ExpII that I received had a broken movement, lumpy lume, chips on the hands and somebody wrote numbers and stuff on the case between the lugs. (very strange) I had to send it back to get a replacement. Here is the one I ended up with:

Thanks for sharing nix!! Nice looking exp2!

I hav questions,. How is the lume on ur exp2??

Is it superlume as they claim?

And the vid josh provide, the seconds hands moving not like 28800.... How is urs?

  7. It seems their communications are really bad... Ppl claim about 9 out of 10 emails are ignored when messages are about any inquires "after the payment"

Problem of "nikki". Nikki is PTs customer service assistant and people always get trouble getting a good answer from her. Even angus replied to someone's inquiry sayin "you should contact me directly for any cust omer services.. Not nikki." ......WHAT??? So what about people who doesnt know about that? People whos not in RWG should pay again for any shipping or product troubles?? So RWG members are handled nicely by angus and non RWG ppl are handled by nikki and get scammed?? Sound to me like they are trying to get a good reputation here and trying to scam other ppl.....

People always get nervous whenever they hav problem wit PT, then frustrated when they hear anything from nikki, then they ask here, angus comes and it takes additional few weeks to solve their matters,,, amd they say

"problem is resolved! Angus took care of it thanks!!!"

Come on, You got ur problem solved but ppl whos buying from PT after you might face the same frustration you had...

AND it seems it happens all the time!!

I thought of buying from PT few times, but never did cuz of their mixed reviews...

I really think rwg should do something for this frequent problem with "trusted dealer"

Im sorry im newbie and i know i dont deserve saying all of this to rwgs long time trusted dealer, but reading many of frustrated reviews of PT made me kinda mad....

  8. Thanks, I'll probably go for the 39mm. How is the lume on these reps, they're not super lumed and Andrew or Josh do not provide a lume shot....

And what about the hand size, I thought the ETA version had a fat minute hand problem? Does the 3131 Clone have the same minute hand?

About the lume, its probly decent blue lume (not bad, but not great).

I remember there are some 39mm wit green lume..(Early versions but not sure) so you should check b4 u buy it.

I'm not movn't expert so maybe someone else could answer the other quetions... :)

  9. The reviewed 39mm watch is very nice, i'd prefer Andrew or Josh due to the UK Transfer option. What do you think of these two Explorer 1s. They both have the option for a 3131 clone (the newer clone is supposed to be better) and the ETA version. How accurate is the rep in general and which movement would you choose?

    http://www.1-pc8838....131-p-9065.html

    http://www.yourtrust...roducts_id=6654

or would you prefer this one from Angus?

    http://www.puretimew...-v3-11-edition/

    Idk anything about movn't ..

39mm seems also accurate as 36mm except that its rehaut engravings are misaligned...

Other flaws from both 36mm & 39mm are little things which I don't really care.

I really like new blue lume on 39mm.

So I think you should go depending on your wrist size

  10. Is it ok without rehaut engraving???

I thought many prefer rolex watches without rehaut engravings becuz factories never get it correctly?

I love the watch, except I just can not wear 36mm watches anymore... ;)

    My loss...

    MM

Why not~ I have thin wrist but small watches look good for others too :)

  11. It seems like no one actually tried buying new ceramic daytonas (at least on this Rolex Area...), so I wanna give a try.

I'm too noob to write a review of it, so I just wanna share some pics of it

Its got cheap 21J movn't with faux subdials @ 3,9.

    Enjoy

    post-38066-0-88024400-1324161504.jpg

This watch comes wit daytona deployment(?) buckle, but my wrist was too skinny for its original strap... I changed it hirsch modena.

    post-38066-0-98793200-1324161507.jpg

Rehaut engraving alignments are OK, but position is little low.

    post-38066-0-48062200-1324161511.jpg

    # indices are smaller than gen. 2,11 are touching subdials on gen.

    post-38066-0-93683200-1324161513.jpg

I chose to buy this watch becuz of its thickness... its less than 13mm.

    Crown position too low
