Yeah, production for the ceramic one has been stopped
-
Don't do it.. Imagine the humiliation she would face if she was called out by a sales exec at an AD with her friends
-
The gen has sunken screws, so it would be more accurate to the gen to have this mod (though it is a minor one).
-
It's not a ceramic bezel, it's a rubber one
-
If I'm not mistaken they are of different sizes (disparity of 2mm)?

This is an interesting topic Dave. You're right, the kneejerk answer is "Rolex", but after pondering it for a sec, for me it's pams. I guess partially because of the quality of the new ones but for me also because they're the one watch that I've seen guaranteed reps of in the wild, multiple times. Anyone else who spends a lot of time, or lives, in Singapore will know what i mean.
I live in Singapore as well. Do you see many rep pams around? I've seen many but I can't tell whether they are rep or gens from the distance. What are the biggest 'tells'?
-
Thanks for the review! Guess you would sell the rep now that you have the gen?
-
Oh, one think i might add. Idk about the las vegas, the rubberclad is a good rep. For the MH the blue tone is off. And as for the bumblebee the case is meant to be forged carbon, not pvd. So if you want an accurate rep i suggest getting the rubberclad (from your selections).

torobravo. Do a search up

I am sure this trend would permeate the dealers factory.. ultimately, they would have to supply watches with the correct pusher shape. Hang in there yo!
Hope so... *fingers crossed*

What do you mean... have you asked her, audace?I would be interested in picking up a pair of the new pushers if sold separately and have a local Mod perform the install in conjunction with the A7750 movement service.Audace ?
Sorry for the late reply, don't really login to RWG that much. Yeah, I have asked her. She said that she would only perform this mod to customers who bought watches from her. Doesn't matter if you're willing to pay for it (unless you're gonna pay a million or something). What a let down, I hope that more TDs supply these pushers in the future... Would really make a big difference to my AP ROOs.
-
I would say it's a decent rep, but the movement is a big tell
-
Pity she doesn't supply them... Sigh

Wow! looks fanastic!

Beautiful! I used to have a noob DSSD ultimate and it was awesome! Great wrist presence! You might consider getting a gen insert (though I don't think it's as easy to find a gen insert as compared to the sub). If i'm not wrong, the bezel turns are loud 'click' sounds right? You might want to grease the bezel to replicate the smooth turning sound of the gen's.
-
Looks awesome! What are the visual differences from this and the gen's?
-
I'm sorry to hear about your plight, hope it gets settled. Do keep us posted

Over here in Singapore, it's pretty much an inverted bell curve. There are many people sporting Casios and Seikos and premier watches like Panerai, Hublot, AP, etc. Lesser people, however, wearing Tags, based on my observation. However, Tags/Omegas are quite popular amongst the young here

Congrats and welcome to the forum! Very nice watches there!
-
Wow! Interesting collection with variety!
-
IMO the marginal difference in quality isn't worth the cash. The hornback, on the other hand, is a different story

Great watch! Still waiting for BK to launch the latest TW sub..

Welcome bro! I am a fellow sinkie too. The HBB tourbillon is a real looker, despite it being relatively overpriced compared to the likes of RD & JLC. Great collection you have there! Really makes me envious

Which TDs offer this service and how much? Thanks!
