Well, I recieved my IWC GST Chrono SS and had some questions:
How do you operate the chrono?
How do you reset the 3 sub dials?
Is it normal for reps to arrive with dirt grime underneath the glass? For example, the hour and minute hands appear to have dirt/grime on them -- very noticable. Also, the 5 minute markers also appear dirty which is very noticable. The minute hand has a slight bent at the end (is this normal?)
Thoughts???
Hey PT-
I bet most of the hard work will be for you choosing which design fits your needs.
Well, hopefully there is enough designs for you to choose from. Most of the designs submitted by our fellow members are very creative and distinctive in their own way. Also, each has its own look and feel. Go with what seems most suitable to your vision and needs.
Cheers!
Everyone has done a fantastic job!!!! Boy, we have many talented people on this board. Job well done to all!!!
All who had submitted: If you were chosen as the winner in PT's competition -- which watch would you want from PT?
I have a Mark XV Automatic that was purchased about 4 years ago -- don't know too much about this watch.
Can anybody tell me what they think about this watch?
Yep -- this is a sure beauty. Strange -- it seems that you and I are the very few that are IWCites.
This would be a very challenging task to reproduce -- I wonder if it may be too difficult to get close to the gen.
draft iv: this should sum it up for me.
Man, PT must be extremely happy considering all the options to choose from. For us to go this far for a watch -- I feel dirty after all of this -- I have to take a shower.
Cheers!
Amen, brother. This has been really fun -- very interesting to see how people's creative juices flow. I was actually looking at the other designs and there are quite a few that would be awesome to mix-n-match.
PT -- hope you aren't overwhelmed with the options to choose from!
Cheers!
It looks like the guideline for this competition is without limits -- there is some indication to what PT is looking for.
There are a lot of really creative stuff that people are posting for this competition. However, if the competition is for a traditional logo (defined by advertising industry) -- more than half of these submission would be eliminated. This goes without saying, very nice work to all who has participated.
Just have fun.
