  1. Just ordered this one- my 24th rep but my 1st PAM (for myself- wifey has a Daylight)- http://www.tt88time.com/index.php?main_pag...products_id=471 I'm being a bit vague on purpose- I'm a U.S. Federal uniformed employee who wears a black belt and black casual shoes- anyone have any recommendations for an extra strap I could order that I can pull off wearing? Cheers! Arty
  2. Thanks dluddy. 'Old', probably means no longer available anywhere? Arty
  3. Awesome! Guess I've been out of the loop- where did this one come from? Thanks, Arty
  4. This one has seen many, many 100 dollar bills 'arrive in and depart from' my hands over the past few days... Cheers, Arty
  5. I need to pack for a holiday trip so short answer- Andrew is Trustytime, I'm in U.S. so no recomendation on shipping to Sweden (from China where Andrew is), when it rains and I'm outdoors all my reps go in my pants pocket. I believe you could pay extra for a proper water resistance upgrade...although mine has provrn to be especially water tight from the factory. Gotta' go, Arty
  6. I sure like mine from Andrew. The Bond strap it comes on is chinsy though, thin strap material with plated hardware. I purchased some different Natos with stainless steel hardware from Gnomonwatches for a little variety... I love the raised crystal, they just don't make 'em like this anymore! Good luck, Arty
  7. Hadn't thought of that dial / strap combo Robbie- sounds like it would be really cool! No substitute for the OEM Breitling straps either (I own a 20mm tan calfskin). I'll bet the black Croc is simply awesome, even though it would cost as much or more, than the rep watch... Ciao, Arty
  8. Still this one- Nine days straight, and no plans to remove from my wrist... If I don't end up buying the Gen, they may be burying me wearing this one. On a lighter note, Happy weekend! Arty
  9. From the first time I saw the show I've thought that it's a "mid-size' Yachtie. At 5'10", he may have thought he couldn't pull off a 40 mm watch.
  10. Yes, please keep us posted. Oh, I forgot this shot of the tall plexi crystal...
  11. Here's mine- I think it's the same as Honpo's- Got it from here-out of business: I was going to provide a few links I had bookmarked where you can sill get this, one was Pam111.com, but the model doesn't show up anymore! Arty
  12. Why couldn't you pull it off? Size-wise or $$$ wise? Here's a shot of a vintage gen Sub borrowed from our cousin gen forum- I'll bet he's in his 20's - does this look too small for your taste? ...This piece as you probably know, currently goes for about $8000-$10,000 right now. I'll settle the closest I can get right now, from Andrew... Best to you, I'm just brainstorming, Arty
  13. Greetings Vlad, and welcome. The reason a question like that doesn't go over well around here is because many of us have been around these parts for months and even years, and have seen new members get burned too often. Don't get me wrong, some of us have too (not me thank God). Granted, once in a blue moon someone comes up with a good new replica supplier, but 99 out of 100 times it turns out to be a scam. Stick to the recommended dealers listed on the home page, and you'll be much better off. I'm looking at the prices on this site, and they do not seem right. We recommend spending a couple days, if not weeks, getting all your ducks in a row knowledge-wise before you pull the trigger on a new watch. Good luck, Arty
  14. I know I'm a couple months late, but why can't we? I swear I've got the same version (minus the box / papers / caseback sticker). Granted, I bought it several years ago, but I thought a couple dealers still had it. I'll get into further detail if I find that I'm understanding the 'if only' comment correctly. Thanks, Arty
  15. Same as over the weekend, but on a different strap... Ciao, Arty
  16. Do a search on the bay for 'omega bezel insert'. You'll find several to choose from for $20 or so. They are easy to install. Good luck, Arty
  17. Freddy- may I just say that your taste in watches, modding ability, and photography skills are all among (if not THE) finest on these rep forums. Kudos, Arty
  18. Bazz- We will never be tired of looking at that masterpiece. Ciao, Arty
  19. Just got my Navi back from Josh for a n/c repair, so it will be stuck to my wrist for at least the weekend... Cheers, Arty
  20. Between my wife and I, we bring six. I've got a compact black leather 4 watch travel case in which two of mine and two of hers are placed, and packed in our carry-on. And, we each wear one the plane of course. It's nice to be able to have a small variety to choose from depending on what activity your going to get into i.e. gambling, shopping, seeing a show, swimming in the hotel pool, etc. And, your room will have a wall safe (most likeley) that you can secure them in while you're out and about. Have fun! Arty
  21. Someone's going to get a gem there- both the folded Oyster bracelet and the tall acrylic crystal suggest to me that it's legit- Arty
  22. Switched to this for the afternoon... Ciao, Arty
  23. These two could probably be added to the list, don't you think? Corum Golden Bridge- And the Jacob & Co. Quentin- Cheers, Arty
  24. Thanks Doc, I just caught that. To anyone who is curious about that comment; I ordered a watch from Lawrence when he was on CQout, had good results and followed him over to his (then) new website- H.O.S. And Fakey. Once you've dealt with him (if not already?), you'll be so tickled by his quality, prices and service that I bet you'll jump on the HOS fan-bus too! Ciao, Arty
