  1. Hello everyone!

I have acquired a real Omega Seamaster Automatic 2531.80. This watch has been heavily enjoyed by its previous owner and is in need of some TLC. I would say its manufacturer date was back in 1998 and has never been serviced. The movement its self is visually in very nice condition but the case and bracelet could use a really good polishing up.

If anyone is interested or knows some that is interested in doing a service and cleaning please let me know.

All the best and Cheers to the weekend!

  2. I switched out the Ladies Tag MOP with the Ladies Link silver two tone. Other then slightly misplaced markers, the QC pics look good (see below). So the Carrera and the Ladies Link are on their way to Canada!

When the watches arrive, I'll take some clean shots with my SLR and share with the community here.

  3. Ok, so this acquisition was a bit of a production. I bought the watch on the bay for cheap as it was dropped and needed repair. Basically long story short (took forever to fix), it needed a new crystal (which was expensive!), new hands and movement service (also expensive). End of the day, it costs me $1900.00 with the full service by Tag certified tech. I sold 3 of my favorite reps to fund it so really, not too painful financially. I love the classic look of this Tag and the movement is spot on (base ETA 2894-2 I believe). Anyway, just thought I’d share my experience with this one and some quick mediocre photos. Thanks for looking.
