Good question. I have no idea but I would assume more frequently than an auto wind that doesn't have to be wound manually. I don't see why it can't last long if treated properly, if you are careful and don't strip the threads then you shouldn't have to change it for a long time

The reason that you aren't getting the answer you are looking for is because there isn't one. Best is subjective and so it's up to you do find one that you think is best not anyone else. Advise would be to search the forum for that model, you'll find plenty reps and builds, once you find one that you like order it or in the case of a build pm the guy who made it. Tell him that you love what he did and that you want to try to do the same, 9 out of 10 times the member will be happy to help you through Pm's to get you on the right track, rest is up to you. If you need help along the way, we're here for you.

"It's so weird that such a famous watch is one of the harder ones to find good reps of." That's one of the reasons why it's fun for me to make them, the reps are not good and so it's a real challenge to get one right. I would just wait for the better versions to be available again and then get akira or Daz to work their magic and make it better. You'll need a bit more money but you have some time to save up

Guys he's very cautious about getting random emails, he likes to ask where you got his contact info from.. He is worried about people getting pics and dials from him and posting them on the gen forums to ask for opinions.. These rep forums are fine, you can post away. If he asks I guess you can say that you came across his website somehow or heard from a 3rd party that he does nice redials,, something like that.

Just got the dial from my new dial maker. I'm really happy, I can't wait to see what it's going to look like in my watch. I'm going to swap my 2 line dial for this one for now.
