Really nice piece. Is this dealer new? I've never heard of MR before,
-
Just ask Bk to put a gen insert in, pretty sure he can do that
+1 to what woof said.
I had BK install a gen insert on his 16610 and it looks perrrfect! On top of that, BK's a real nice guy to deal with. You won't go wrong with his knowledge and experience on Rolex.

Thanks for the update on this BK!
-
Thanks Sgn.
I'lve sent him a PM.
BTW is this watch stock from TC or does it have gen components to it?
-
Was this the one TC was selling with the "kit package" a few weeks ago? Or does he have more stock of it? Was told he had only that ONE stock for the sub lv
Nice watch!

Wow this thread got me interested in the snowflake. Thanks Woof for the detailed breakdown on suggested mods and from where to source them.
-
TC is a member here and not a trusted dealer (not saying he's untrustworthy) and to me a gen crystal is way more clear and if you get one with the etched coronet you don't have to worry about it being to "loud" also it's more convincing IMHO if you use a gen service 25-295c with the side ways S which means its a service crystal (I had bk install one on my TW best) hope this helps
Thanks iRolexU!
That clears up and I guess I'll go with gen crystal then.

How does a gen xtal compare against the rep xtal since both does not have AR on cyclops?
Is it really worth it to invest in a gen xtal? I currently have a gen insert with the bk tw sub
-
i love the 312 but the open CB shows the movement which is a big tell
-
111(simple looks + accuracy to gen) for daily wear and probably 390 for the weekend pam
-
thanks guys for your input.
I agree the sub looks gen, crystal and insert but not too sure about bracelet and crown. It does look gen overall.
-
-
The end result is really good and comparable to the gen insert if not for the markers.
Very very informative and detailed tutorial. Thanks for your efforts!
-
Very great comparison and I agree H fac. seems like a better choice overall for me as well.
May I know where did the blue strap come from? It looks gorgeous
-
Nice piece.
Did you AR the cyclops?
-

Hi Necky,

Is there any other way to contact necky other than the email?
-

Thanks for the great pictures!
-
very nice piece! Is it an open or closed caseback?
-
