I'm talking to pbdad since he was the one I paid, I have not talked to Avitt. I was told some parts did not come out right and had to be redone. He originally told me this would take 6 weeks, its almost double that now.

Hi guys, I'm very worried about my DLC coating job taking almost 4 months. I sent my new BK sub, along with payment to pbdad who received it on 12/08/2011. He said he's working with Avitt on this. That's 600$ watch and $600 for DLC service that he has had for almost 4 months and I don't know what the status is. I'm very concerned about this. Any suggestions?

OK thank you guys! Maybe I'll get the PVD for $330 and then send to BK for dial and hands. The only difference is dial and hands, right?
-
That's true, you can buy one PVD coated, but I wanted to get BK's sub...

Tried contacting Avitt with no luck, was told he is not available due to family emergency. Is there anyone else who can do this for me? Please PM

I called a local watch repair and got quoted $1000 for PVD coating!

Hi guys, I am eagerly awaiting the release of BK's new sub and I want it in all black like this:
I was wondering if anyone knows how much it would cost to have it PVD coated in black? And who on this forum does it? Also, is this a good idea in general? Thanks guys!

I came across this watch and it seems too good to be true with asian tourbillon movement for only 400 bucks? Usually I see turby reps for $600+. The seller is endorsed by RWG, so it seems legit. What is everyone's opinions on this piece?

OK thanks guys, I'll go ahead and order that sub from Andrew @ trustytime. I don't know much about these, I have 1 rep that I got 4 years ago online (dont remember website) and I paid about 500 bucks for it. I can't tell a difference between these reps and the real one lol

OK I guess I'll go with that black sub from trustytime. It doesn't have any glaring flaws? $328 seems a little on the low quality side...

Or my other choice is this one:

So I'm basically down to these two pro hunters. Which do you guys think I should go with?

Thanks guys, I think I might go with this one... looks great. Weird that they don't have pricing on their website though..

They look exactly the same to me, I think 99.99% of people will not tell a difference.

The all black Pro-Hunter series is available from all the dealers.
I've seen bamford watches around as well.
Oh I see, thank you! I thought it was a submariner and wasn't looking under "Pro-Hunter". Is it the same size as submariner or bigger like deep sea dweller? Which dealer would you recommend for it?

Hi guys, I haven't been able to find one like this for sale. Any good reps of it?

Movement only lasts a few hours?

I wear the BK sub replica watch in the evening, and next morning its completely dead. The other rep I have lasts at least a full day. Is this normal? Also, it produces a loud mechanical swining noise on start-up. Thoughts?
