I found a tutorial by BAZZ, but it looks like it way out of my league.

Any replica friendly watchmaker will be able to fix it for $5... if they charge you anything.
Call around your local area and see.
hope your right. with the economy going they way it is, I can't afford to fix my rep.

I have a eta sub. It needed new o ring around the crown, so I took the back off and pressed the release button to get he crown off. Everything went smoothly until I tried to put the crown back, and it will not stay in. Looks like the release button is stuck. Is there anything I can do?????
Thank Eddie.

I like it.

Your crown tube (the small, threaded tube that screws into the case) is stripped, so the crown's threads will no longer correctly mate with it.
A very common problem with reps. You have 2 choices - either see if the collector you purchased the watch from is willing to give/sell you another rep crown tube, or, better yet, buy a gen Rolex tube & crown (the rep crown will not fit onto a gen tube or vice-versa) and have a watchmaker install them. You can usually find used 7mm Triplock crowns for $20-$50 on ebay & new-style 6mm Swiss-made aftermarket tubes for $6/ea from Ofrei.
Cool. Thanks for your help.

Thanks Eddie

I wonder is there will be a new model of the Ultimate evo, since no one has in stock?
-
They are due back in stock this month I believe but don't hold me to that.
i'm keeping my fingers crossed
-
so who has one in sock? Ruby doesn't. She had the best price too.

Anyone have the BCE ultimate in stock? Seems everyone I have contacted is out but are offering the first gen, saying it is good quality. Anyone, any details?
I would like to know as well.

i took it to a watchsmith for a full watch service.. it costed me $110 and i'm getting it back in 10 days.. i mean the dealer did offer for me to send it back and she'll replace a new movement in.. but one i think i've given the dealer too much trouble, two im scared that the same thing will happen again.. i think the movement got damaged during its trip here to australia.. so viper do you think i did a stupid job by doing this? lol but full service job is better for the watch right?
ohh and i gotta ask another thing mate.. would a genuine bezel and a gen dial fit in the steelfish superocean? thanks
So is the dealer paying for the service for your watch???

Last November I found this forum and very soon my collection had outgrown my old watch box. So I needed a new watch box and bought this one:
My main requirement was that the indivisual compartments are big enough so that the watches are in a safe distance from each other and there would be no chance for scratches. This one has pillows of 60 mm width. This is big enough even for 47mm Panerais.
As you can see it is full. Fortunately I bought two boxes.

I've seen the aftermarkets on the bay for $30 but have no idea if they are even close to the real thing. If the quality isn't on par with gen, I'd prefer to go with a branded rep bracelet. Anyone have one laying around or know where to source a decent branded rep? This would be for a 16220 so I'm looking for all-stainless. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
here you go. http://www.silix-prime.com/class.asp?aid=120&nid=575
