Thanks for the input atomic_doug - I have a Radiomir 288k so I want to stick to the 44mm case. I did see the Pam 363 which is really rare also but, man it looks Great! just can't seem to find who sells it.

Was also looking at the DSN 195 logo, that one seems more realistic just would like to know if the cannon pin, crown and CG are up to par among the other marks, dial, etc..

ok, I just tried to find the Gen of this model 5218-203a and couldn't find it. I found a 205 that was 70K.. to me that screams Rep as I likely would not spend 70k a watch since I don't Have it! lol

I guess I'm looking for a reasonably price Model for a PVD

Did you clean the dial like he said? Would there be a way of covering wha tyou didn't want to get discolored?

I did this awhile back. The result looks good. But I decided to wipe it off because it left a film on the black dial which I though looked strange. Strange like the dial looked dirty. Or maybe... I'm strange. LOL Here's some pics.

I bought the special screw drver from Angus.... it's not cheap though 30 plus shipping... but, I rather pay that than damage a screw or loose a few..

Mine does not do it but, I had mine waterproofed and Serviced...

The biggest issue is the screws. Some will not hold onto the threads, and some will not come out. Never try to replace the strap coz those screws on the lug plates are terrible, same problem as just mentioned. I spent $$$$ to buy the gen. HBB screws and try to do the switching but they are simply not the same spec as those on the rep.

Which screws did you buy? Lugs or Bezel
